So Lion-O and Pumyra will be cool together.
Pumyra seems to be the main promoter of the relationship, so I think that’s better for Lion-O because then he will know she is dedicated to him and won’t pull a Cheetara on him (nothing against Cheetara).
I agree except with the whole Tygra has lost so many people.
Tygra really hasn’t lost anymore people than Lion-O has.
Since he really didn’t know his clan or even OF his clan until Native Son, can’t really say he lost them since he really never had them to begin with. But, if we go along that route, than it works just as well to say that Lion-O lost his clan when thundera fell in Ep 1. Thus both have lost their “clans”
Both lost the Queen and the King of Thundera.
Lion-O lost Emrek and Jaga. While Tygra knew of Jaga, he didn’t seem to have the same connection as Lion-O. With Emrek, Lion-O definetly was the one who lost a friend/loved one in that episode.
So really, it can be debated that Lion-O has actually lost more people than Tygra.
I think the look Tygra gives Lion-O is more so the writers continuing to tease about that infernal love triangle.
I too see Pumyra as the aggressive one in any potential relationship between her and Lion-O, he’s been hurt before and will want to make absolutely sure that the girl is actually interest in him before he makes a move. The problem is that he’ll be too cautious and fail to see the obvious. This will no doubt frustrate Pumyra (and maybe the other cats, who’ll tell him she won’t wait around forever) which will only serve to fuel her Tsundere-like tendencies.

By your own logic, Lion-O only lost a King. He never knew the Queen. Can’t miss someone you never knew, right?
Jaga seems like a bit of a stretch and Emrick was a natural loss. While it was sad to see him go, he didn’t die suddenly, nor was he killed in battle. Not like the Queen and King.
I’m not saying Lion-O doesn’t miss Jaga and Emrick, I just don’t see any reason to believe that it’s some constant pain on his shoulders . Not like Claudus’ death.
Tygra got to know Javan, and came to care about him enough to want to stay. It’s clear that he feels like he’s found a home with this new clan, but it ends with Tygra having to say goodbye for good.
Lion-O cared about Emrick, but he was not about to leave the group to live with the Petlars. It’s can easily be argued that Tygra felt closer to Javan, then Lion-O did to Emrick.
Also, I take it a clan is a close group of people/animals. Lion-O lost his clan when he lost Claudus. Lion-O and Tygra are both part of the royal family, and so Tygra lost that “clan” too. I’m don’t have time to watch it, but isn’t it Tygra who speaks about the fall of the city during their cell scene in the premier? Something like, “we’ve lost our father, our home…”
You say Tygra can’t count his clan as something he lost because he never had it, and then say Lion-O lost both his parents? Lion-O never even met his mother. At least Tygra did briefly meet his birth dad. And Tygra knew his dad just as long as Lion-O knew Emrick. Emrick only lived for a day. You can’t count Lion-O’s mom and Emrick if you don’t count Tygra’s clan.
And Chique is right. Everything Lion-O has lost, every family member, Tygra has lost too because he was raised as part of that family.

I find it very alarming how people say Pumyra wears the “PANTS” in the relationship… So when a woman is more aggressive and assertive that makes her more like a man? Is a woman then defined as someone uber calm and submissive? Is this more..feminine? In my mind the ultimate woman or man is a person who can balance assertion, aggression, compassion, strength etc..
I think Lion-O sees a lot of himself in Pumyra and that leads him to feeling responsible for her because he’s kind of scared of what might happen to her if she continues down this path (after all, not everyone has a magical spirit stone to conveniently bring them back to life when they need it). Maybe that’s what happens in “The Soul Sever,” Pumyra is killed in battle and Lion-O attempts to use the power of the Spirit Stone to rejoin her soul to her body. In the process learns about her feelings for him and learns a little something of how he feels about her.
Interesting…however, I doubt they’d kill another main character in the same season that Lion-O got killed. It would just be too much. I think they’ll reveal the relationship in an interesting way, but I’m hoping it doesn’t involve death.
She won’t be anymore dead that Lion-O was. Just like in “Trials” her “death” is just an excuse for the plot.
I’m saying it probably won’t happen. It would be just as much of a crime to have her die as them not expanding on her in the OS.
I agree. What I am thinking is Soul Sever might be the lead up to Tygra taking the Sword and gauntlet of Plunn-Dar and turning against the Thundercats. Then we might get a nod to "All that Glitters:

That would be really interesting, but we have had enough drama with Tygra. He kinda deserves a break.
