So now we’re done with the first season of the new series, what does everyone think?
I think the series is off to a great start. The first 13 episodes had a handful of really strong episodes, but it also had a few didn’t thrill me. The show would really benefit from having more 2-parters (especially the finale), but I understand why they can’t do that. Overall I’d say it’s an 8. I’m really looking forward to season 2, I just hope the break isn’t too long.
I give it a 7.
And hasn’t it been for the last two eps, I’d have given it a 4 or 5.
9 for me. I loved this season, but some of the episodes were a little disappointing.
The whole thing about the book of omens for example, Panthro and Grune was out for ages looking for it with no luck. We also get told and get to SEE how far they walk to hide it they even walk in snow which i hoped we would get to see but no. They get there to fast is the simplest way to say it.

First 2 eps were great and the last 2 also.
The ones in between were everything from bad to good.
Very much pleased with the old show cameos. I hope there’s more of those in the future.
In comparison the orignal show first 13 eps would get a 9
9 from me. This show turned out much better than I ever could have hoped.
I had my fears going into it (who didn’t?) but overall, it turned out very well and I applaud those that worked on this show for giving us a worthwhile reboot that was both faithful to what we loved about Thundercats and offered new elements to update the series for a new generation.
It doesn’t get a 10 because a 10 would imply perfection, which it isn’t. Hardly anything is to be honest. Most of my complaints are minor nitpicks here and there and I have yet to see anything glaringly awful about the show so far.
I gave it a 2. All fight, no character.

I gave it an 8. I would have liked it more without the romance and if the ThunderCats sans Lion-O interacted with each other more.
2/10 The execution of things wasn’t good and the writing was poor in some places. The only thing i really like are the Voice Actors and the animation.
I agree with the weak point being the lack of interaction between the TCs (sans Lion-o). For example, sned Panthro and Tygra in an exploration mission on the Tank, or have Cheetara and the kittens spying or exploring the territory, and make them talk and share their thoughts and bond.
Just for fun: average rating o far is 6.7.
The OS was a kid show but had far more balance character time and fight time. people feel the episodes go by too fast. That is because of the ultra action element. Quiet moments help slow things down a bit. Will keep watching and posting in the vain hope that some PTB will notice comments.

8 from me. Something’s wrong with the pace… too fast and too slow at the same time.
I gave it a 7 cause 7.5 isn’t an option lol.
overall I liked it. the voice acting, animation, art direction, and overall story was strong. but early pacing issues and too much focus on Lion-O at the beginning held it down a little for me. I was also hoping for more appearances from OS characters (especially villains).
however I loved the latter half of the season and they seemed to have corrected a lot of the issues I had with the show. really looking forward to season 2!
Yeah, I give it a 7. There’s room for improvement, but I think they have a pretty strong start, and they’re definitely moving towards that balance needed for the younger generation and to keep the older ones involved too. And now that they’ve got some more breathing room with a 3rd and 4th season, I suspect it’s only going to get better from here 
6 for me, i expected to be blown away every episode…the first two were good the last two were good, the middle ones were boring…

I gave it a 9. I adored this show so much. Only reason it didn’t get a ten from me was cause Lion-o just had too much screen time.
I gave it a 2, and I thought I was being nice with that.
My complaints, and these are just my opinions which will not change and have not changed with arguments:
The fact that the girls are wearing barely nothing but the guys are well clothed. Insulting for them to be objectified like that. And irresponsible especially regarding Kit’s age.
Panthro - hate his hair (that’s minor and I could overlook it but), his personality is too dark, I hate him having only one good eye, I hate him losing his arms. IMO, they have completely ruined his character.
Cheetara - besides her wearing hardly anything, the fact that she led Lion-O on only to be interested in the end in Tygra makes her character worthless to me.
Tygra and Lion-O - I was instantly weary of them always arguing/fighting. Hate Tygra’s co ckiness, hate Lion-O’s immaturity. I don’t like the new show making them brothers. I prefer them being friends and colleagues similar to the original series. I’m tired of their petty arguments and I’m tired of Tygra always wanting the crown.
Kit and Kat - besides Kit’s outfit, I don’t like their tails and I would prefer them to be pre-teens like the OS Kittens. I hate them being thieves.
Too Lion-O centric.
Tygra’s armor - it’s hideous.
What I like…
Snarf, surprised me because I was initially not happy that he couldn’t talk. I find his character to be very cute and funny.
The premiere 2 episodes - very well done.
Ramlak Rising - also very well done.
The Berbils - I liked the changes they made, especially their ability to tuck and roll.
Claudus - I would have preferred if Lion-O had been killed and Claudus kept going. Go Larry Kenney!
A 2/10? Are you guys serious? No offense, but that’s an F- letter grading wise. Would you have preferred they not rebooted it at all? It seems incredibly harsh as a grade, especially considering how much effort went into the animation as well as fleshing out the characters WAY more than the OS. The OS was, quite frankly(And this is coming from someone who loves it) a kid’s kid show. No mention of death, no deaths in the show for that matter, no “romance” at all(unless you count the random time cheetara accidentally fell into Lion-o). I think people are being really harsh on this show, especially since you all have to remember this new show is still aimed at KIDS for pete’s sake. They aren’t doing an HBO reboot for all the 25-40 year olds that used to watch the old one. It’s a fine balance. I’d happily give it an 8, this could have been like He-man, Transformers, or TMNT reboots and guess what? It wasn’t a failboat like those shows were. This is a successful new vision of Thundercats. Perfect? No. But still worth watching and appreciating.

Not to mention, btw, as much as people complain about lack of character development, there’s vastly less of that in the OS unless your Lion-o. Lion-o is the only character in the old show who GETS character development. Tygra in the old show, along with the rest of the crew maybe barring Cheetara, were there as plot devices for Lion-o to save. And on top of that, I’d say there’s only a handful of episodes that didn’t involve Lion-o saving the day every time(120 episodes people) not to mention Lion-o didn’t save the day nearly as much THE SWORD did. I think one time the sword made the sky rain for god’s sake, it was the most ridiculous solution to every problem the T-cats got into. Just sayin’
