And since they seem to be embracing the LotR influences in this version. It was one reason I lifted an eyebrow at them putting Tygra in green. Green usually implies the elf role

Well, it does take a high level of Dexterity to use a bolo.

Hey, I’m looking forward to Tygra getting it just because I want to see the epic mutant beat down afterwards. I have a feeling a few mutants are going to have it coming by the time our heroes find the book.

I miss the whip too. It added some fun to the ‘hardcore’. Now he’s just a G.I Joe. Promotional artwork pretty much confirms we’ll get it back though.

Ha. Just made a Zorro/Tygra parallel in my head. In addition to his Han Solo attributes. Hm.

If you guys are talking about Tygra getting his bolo Whip we have already seen it in the premiere. When he stood with Lion-O against the crowd of cats he broke it out on them and even disappeared. So he has got it he is just giving preference to his new toy but like all cats I am sure he will return to his old faithful.

I think we all hope that

Hey think of it this way.. It’s info gathering.

They have confirmed that Tygra is left handed. That seems to be the hand he perfers to hold the gun in.

@HillsHollow

Yup.

I always saw alot of the Rings books influences in T-cats.

Snarfs were SO Hobbits for example. Even with Snarfs being nearly incorruptible except when they were fighting over candy fruit. In the Ring books for example it was mushrooms that could lead Hobbits to blows with other hobbits.

If they are influenced by the LOTR film, then we can expect the series finale to mirror the Return of the King movie, where everybody Lion-O has befriended during his journey joins with him in defeating Mumm-Ra and his forces to reclaim Thundera.

They have confirmed it? Missed that one.

I think he grabbed the whip with his right hand in the 1st episode though.

I agree, his hideous armor and gun make him look like a GI Joe wannabe. I’m guessing he made that armor himself from the destroyed machines of the same color.

I believe Tygra holds the gun with his right hand. Maybe he’s ambrodextris. (Sp?)
