Since the premiere “Omens” thread was popular, here’s one for “Ramlak Rising”.
Please be aware that this thread WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! 
So, if you’d prefer not to read these before you get chance to see the show, you’d probably be best to look away now!
I have a question that I didn’t want to waste an entire thread on. I’ve always heard times for tv shows advertised for East Coast and Central. So for tonight, I see it being advertised: 8:30/7:30 Central. How is it advertised in Mountain Time and Pacific? Anyone here know? Just curious. 
Usually it is one of 2 options:
8:30/7:30 Central means 6:30 Mountain, 5:30 Pacific. So the whole country at the same time.
8:30 Eastern/Pacific means 8:30 at each time zone. So each timezone sees it at the same time on their clock.
Almost time for Ramlak to rise.
This Star Wars show looks decent, never seen it before.
Two things. Screw CN, seriously. Not even an A:TLA like intro.
Second, was Kit playing the flute song from Pokemn the Movie: 2000? O_o ROFLMAO..almost felt like it.
Ok then. It seems ‘Whiskers’ is a curse in the Thundercats world.
The intro was…underwhelming.
Awesome soundtrack continues, the travel music was glorious and I really liked the quiet piece as well.
Man I love how this show and it’s look/color/etc. animates. The background art continues to be stunning, the detail of the wrecked Thundera in daytime, my god.
It’s a shame Lion-O seems to have accepted the kittens off screen, I would have liked to see them win him over.
Yeah, yeah it was. But at least they used the same song. Whatever little of it they used, but still, that’s nice. They could of gone with some new crap.

I loved the noises.
Also. Lion-O’s gone kinda crazy. Veeeeerrrryyyy crazy.
That was GREAT lol. Also, the kittens BITING the creature since they don’t seem to have any weapons yet 
Hah, they were paying attention to what the cook was saying lol.
Edit: Ah much better, they weren’t just accepted offscreen during the travel montage.

So Tygra and Lion-O get their armor off screen. At least Kit and Kat’s new clothes has a story.
The episode was cute..but..it felt short compared to the pilot. But OMFG that ending makes up for that.
I can’t help but think they could’ve added a few seconds to the intro if they skipped the “Thundercats will be back soon” stuff. It makes me wonder what Intro Matthew Mercer saw when he said they recreated some of it scene for scene. maybe there will be one for the DVDs afterall. can hope.
Also, I really liked the funeral at the beginning. Wasn’t expecting it. We now know a little bit more of the Thunderian religion as they spoke of reincarnation.
P.S. it is short compared to the pilot. the pilot was 2 episodes. 
I’m not complaining about Tcats, but lets try and stay away from taking the plots of classic novel stories and applying them to Tcats… cough cough Moby Dick, cough cough
That was great, quite the follow-up to the premiere.
The Ahab storyline really worked for me and it’s great to see Lion-O capable of learning how to become a better leader already. The fish people getting their home back and the sudden appearance of the tech-boat were glossed over a little too much for my tastes, though.
I really wasn’t expecting a glimpse into Mumm-Ra’s pyramid this early. It looks great, definitely looking forward to seeing more of that place. I like that Grune is working with Mumm-Ra closely, that was a good call from the creators. Jaga being alive was a pleasant surprise and something tells me his time spent in that lantern isn’t fun for him.
The soundtrack is amazing, they are really knocking it out of the park there.
Lion-O learned his lesson about revenge but, when did he learn it? he went from being crazy “No one will stand in my way!!!” to “What about the crew?” in an instant. 
That’s the only thing I didn’t like about the episode (aside from the micro-opening :lionomad:).
Seasick Tygra was awesome and Jaga is alive (for now).
