I have no idea where you’re getting that from, but okay. I never really thought of anyone from the old series as having a love interest. It just wasn’t part of the formula of boy’s shows in the 80’s.
Yeah, I don’t understand it either because I never saw Lion-O even associate with Mandora in anymore than a “hey, we gotta get these bad guys” sense. Everywhere I look says Lion-O had romantic feelings for her, though. I’m confused.
no he didnt have feelings like that for her, the only one it seemed he liked was cheatara and sometimes the warriar maidens but never mandora in the original series
Like I said, I’m just as confused about it as any other person.
I’d rather they created new female Thundercats than have Mandora. Maybe they can merge her character with Lynxana. There are soo many unused wild cat species.

I am too, more than content. But I’m sort of sick of having all the other unimportant Thunderians look dull. What are they supposed to be anyway, domestic cats? I know it helps to focus on the main characters but it wouldn’t kill if the others looked like they belonged to a specific cat clan. I dunno maybe it’s better that way..
I mean I did care for the kittens’ parents and the couple that was sent down to collect the Sword of Plun-darr afterall. Yeah yeah, I guess it’s better to have the majority blend with the background so more important ones, like the tiger clan, can stand out.
But if there’s a second season, they may introduce new ones like snow leopards or jaguars (I mean seriously, how jaguarish was Jaguara?)

I highly doubt that would happen. I’m kinda like TheVileOne when it comes to Mandora in the NS (you know what I mean).
No I don’t know what you mean. What if she is a cat gone rogue. Micheal Lion-o looks like Goku if he was a lion.
Nevermind. They haven’t made that drastic of a change to any character in the OS, so I highly doubt they’ll change Mandora to a cat, or any other animal. It just seems too weird to have any humans come in this late.
The paper guys were close to being humans.

There are a bunch of different things he could be. Some comics say he was a human from first earth (a.k.a. “now” or “a few thousand years before now”) but the wings in the NS almost make him bat-like.

I think Mumm-Ra may very well be a bat humanoid.
This has been up in the air since July on what ever he may be, not talked about for long though.

There wasn’t one in the OS, nor was there a king since Claudis held the title of Lord.
I believe calling Cheetara as “Queen” of the Thundercats is not exactly referring to her as such in terms of royalty. I think what the others that are calling her “Queen” mean it in the sense as in : Queen = most popular female lead of both the original and new series, Iconic member of team and in pop culture.
(i.e. What Chun-Li is to Street Fighter and possibly ALL fighting games in terms of popularity and iconic status…)
