I think I speak for both parties when I say I genuinely hope so. Kind of ironic though that Pumyra stole the show when she only appeared in two episodes whereas Cheetara was the queen in the OS and Pumyra couldn’t even get close.
Karma came in the form of a remake. 
That was her old staff and her new one is much better.

But she was a heartthrob among all the cartoon characters of the period. Poor Pumyra never had the same exposure as her. But she was always my heartthrobe MINE MINE!!! :shocked:

Well, since we are talking about Heartthrob’s from the OS, i always found Mandore the Evil Chaser sexy and impressive!.
A great character too, i liked a lot the Interplanetary Control Force role she had

Gotta admit I never really cared for her, Cheetara filled in the role of strong independent woman rather well for me. And although I’d wish that everybody got to see their favorite characters in the NS, Mandora doesn’t seem to be one of them.

No I don’t think she did, but she would have just been Cheetara under the mask anyway, same voice!!! lol!!! But I do second third and fourth that Mandora NEVER returns in the NS.

See, I knew some mods had to have taste, Cheetara all the way! 
I liked Mandora and hope she does return. If the show continues I’m more than sure they’ll get into some of the more sci-fi aspects and she’d fit right in. And I think an updated version of the whole “escaped prisoner” episode with Quick Pick and the lot would be really fun.

No she never removed the Mask, as an intergalactic police officer she was always on duty, much like Judge Dredd who never showed his face.
Lynn Lipton voiced her and actually didn’t change her voice so much, she reminded a lot of Cheetara.I remember she had more of a harsh tone. Mandora was a law enforcer around the Galaxy.Unless the sci-fi aspect is developed in the NS, then i can’t see how she would fit in the new scenario.But her contribution was important and even became member of the League of Third Earth, right before Tcats leave for New Thundera.
What was it about her you disliked? Her voice? Her design? All that would be changed.
Haha, no. Its more about the premise of an intergalactic space law enforcer. It was just TOO corny, even for the OS. But it was okay then, because half of the OS was all about corny! The lore they have created for the NS has limited the space action to the flashbacks, and it has been all the better for it. The NS just wouldn’t fit mandora at all.

I’d love for her to come back, but rather than being an intergalactic cop she should be a badass and hardened bounty hunter. Maybe Mumm-ra and/or Slithe hire her to bring them Lion-O and the sword but she turns on them once she realizes they never intended to pay her.
Good setup, but Lion-O doesn’t need another love interest. I’m set on the fact that there shouldn’t be any humans for the sole fact that it would completely throw my perspective of the show off course. Sure, I’d still watch it and love it, but I just can’t see any humans in the NS. It just doesn’t seem right.
Hell no, Pumyra is his love interest, Madora’s just another character who shows up every now and then. She wouldn’t be human, she’d be whatever species the Duelist is. Maybe give her an orangey Starfire-like skintone to show she isn’t “human.” Or even just make her a cat, it would be kind of hard to tell at first given what Mandora wore in the old series, but I don’t think it would really matter.
Yeah, I know Pumyra is his love interest. I’m just speculating since apparently Mandora was Lion-O’s love interest in the OS (I never really saw them flirt or anything). I just don’t see her fitting into the NS in general. However, I didn’t think the Berbils would fit well and they did (even though I still find them highly annoying).
