Ok Guys… I am still waiting on the Snowman and Snowmeow Information, Anyone who wants to do it feel free…

Also Chris mentioned a Generic Thunderian Sword that Jaga uses.. where will I be able to find this to draw.. Is it when he fights grune as a ghost? If so which episode is this.. I can not rememeber..

Thanks:)

Chris here…

Apologies for this, Kyle - I meant to do some work on this yesterday but ended up having a horrific day which has carried over into today. I imagine most of the guys on this Board know by now that I suffer with autism and so when something gets to me I really can’t get my mind onto anything else… :frowning:

However, if no one beats me to it I shall hopefully get back on these later this afternoon - it would probably do me good!

I thought he used that sword twice, both times fighting Grune - firstly in “Ghost Warrior”, and then in “ThunderCats Ho! Part 5”.

Take care…

Thats fine chris… Don’t feel under any pressure to do these…Hope everythings ok, if later this after noon is good with you then I will be there… speak soon:)

Chris here…

Thanks Kyle! To be honest, I feel utterly, unbelievably crap, I haven’t felt this unhappy since my cat Willow died, and that was 11 years ago. :frowning:

However, I am enjoying doing these and at the moment I’m finding this site very therapeutic, so if I can get my act together this afternoon I will make some more headway!

Take care…

As I said do what you can, just take some happiness in knowing all here at TCL appreciate you and your input, and hope you come through.. speak soon…

Chris here…

OK, let’s get the party started again!

Name : Snowman
Origin : Third Earth
Group : Third Earth
Strengths : Able to transform large chunks of ice into weapons such as a mace, also a courageous and skilled combatant
Weaknesses : Slight tendency towards overconfidence in battle

…I didn’t know whether Snowman’s helmet would count as a weapon, but thought I’d mention it anyway!

Name : Snowmeow
Origin : Third Earth
Group : Third Earth (animal)
Strengths : Fierceness, strength and courage, also able to traverse long distances without tiring
Weaknesses : None known
Weapons : None

…Now, I’ve taken the liberty of looking at the illustrations you’ve completed for the good guys section, Kyle, and which ones have yet to have this side text added. So, here I’ve taken the massive liberty of completing all of the ones I can see an illustration for that I haven’t yet done! I hope this is OK.

Name : Willa
Origin : Third Earth
Group : Warrior Maidens
Strengths : Exceptional agility, particularly amongst treetops, also possessed of great leadership qualities and exceptional skill with a bow and arrow

Weapons : Bow and arrow, knife

Name : Nayda (I believe this is the correct spelling)
Origin : Third Earth
Group : Warrior Maidens
Strengths : Exceptional agility, particularly amongst treetops, also skilled with a bow and arrow
Weaknesses : Smaller frame makes Nayda more susceptible to capture than some other Warrior Maidens
Weapons : Bow and arrow, knife

…I actually don’t remember seeing Nayda carrying a knife, but I thought it was standard equipment for a Warrior Maiden, so included it just in case!

Name : Bolkin
Origin : Third Earth
Group : Bolkins
Strengths : None known
Weaknesses : Intense curiosity and slight avarice, also slightly fearful
Weapons : None

…Can’t think of anything more interesting to say about the Bolkins, to me they were quite underdeveloped characters. :frowning:

Name : Mumm-Rana
Origin : Third Earth
Group : Third Earth
Strengths : Ever-living immortal able to summon super-strength and power, second only to Mumm-Ra
Weaknesses : Susceptible to mind control

…the “belt” I mention is Queen Luna’s belt as seen in the episode “Mumm-Rana’s Belt”.

Group : Third Earth
Strengths : Able to expertly pilot the giant robots who guard Third Earth’s Oceananic Plug
Weaknesses : None known

Strengths : Skilled with many weapons and devices to combat evil, also a skilled pilot
Weaknesses : Slightly smaller, female frame makes Mandora slightly susceptible to capture
Weapons : Enzyme Cataliser, Boomslang (electronic boomerang), helmet (shoots lasers), spacebike

…I hope these are all OK for you, Kyle, and that you don’t mind me taking the liberty of doing these extra ones! Any more you need doing, LMK, and as always if anyone has anything to add, as far as I’m concerned that would be great!

Take care…

Wow

First of all let me again say WOW.. you really have got that party started again.. That will keep me busy for a while.. I am yet to put them in, but the only ones that remain now for this section are the 3 illustrations I am currently working on..

Hachiman
Wizz-Ra
Brodo

Thanks for these chris… thanks to you we will be able to get the good guys online very soon!

Chris here…

Name : Hachiman

Weaknesses : Code of honour can constrain Hachiman from action or allow him to be duped
Weapons : ThunderCutter (magical Samurai sword)

Name : Wizz-Ra
Origin : Third Earth
Group : None
Strengths : Powerful sorcery and magic, with power equivalent to Mumm-Ra
Weaknesses : Loss of his enchanted helmet causes Wizz-Ra’s powers to fade
Weapons : Enchanted helmet

Name : Brodo
Origin : Unknown
Group : None
Strengths : A powerful wizard, able to transport people from the Astral World to Third Earth
Weaknesses : Frailty caused by old age, blind in one eye
Weapons : None

…I hope these are OK! The only thing I thought of is whether Brodo’s cane is a magical one or just a standard cane, I wasn’t sure and that’s why I said “None”…

Take care…

no problem.. those are awsome chris… All that is really left for now is the Evil titles that I PM’d you about.. So if you still have some time those are the next step.. No worries if you want to do these another time… I know they take a bit longer to structure..

Take care

Chris here…

You have a PM, sir! (And, I’m currently logged into the TCL chatroom if you fancied to speak in “real time” about anything to do with the Encyclopedia, site, or anything else for that matter! :))

Take care…

Chris let me just say that you are doing an awesome job despite what you are going thru. You seem to be doing these like its second nature to you

Chris here…

Thanks, MannyC! Doing these are really helping for some reason!

Kyle & I are talking in the TCL.Org chatroom if you fancy to join us!

Take care…

Wooo!

Ok Guys… If you ignore the main biography writing… the first stage of the Encyclopedia good characters bit is done…

http://www.catslair.net/cartoon/encyclopedia/goodcharacters/index.html

There are a few weapons that I still need to draw.. I also need to change the image of Nayda (I have spelt it wrong lol) I will do all of this tommorow..

I am then going to travel to darkside and get on with the Evil Chracters..
Do as you know Chris it is the Small text of the Evil guys next..

Take care

Chris here…

OK, drum roll please…here come the evil guys!

Name : Mumm-Ra
Origin : Third Earth
Group : None
Strengths : Able to transform into near-invincible ever-living demon, also able to summon energy beams from his fingertips, has ability to fly
Weaknesses : Originally repulsed by the horror of his reflection, unable to maintain his ever-living form for lengthy periods, also can be defeated by the destruction of his coffin, later somewhat subject to the whims of the Ancient Spirits of Evil
Weapons : None/Sword of Plun-Darr

…“mummy” Mumm-Ra has no weapons, whereas Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living later wields the fabled Sword of Plun-Darr!

Name : Pumm-Ra (guise of Mumm-Ra)
Origin : Third Earth

Weaknesses : Blind in one eye, also possesses most of Mumm-Ra’s own weaknesses

Origin : Plun-Darr

Group : Mutants
Strengths : Mutant fighting skill and cunning
Weaknesses : Pronounced cowardice, also greed and lack of loyalty
Weapons : Club, axe

Name : Monkian

Group : Mutants
Strengths : Exceptional agility climbing and swinging amongst trees
Weaknesses : Arguably the most slow-witted of the Mutants, also slightly cowardly
Weapons : Spiked mace, spiked ball and chain, boulder-shooting shield

Group : Mutants, also occasionally works with the Lunataks
Strengths : A skilled inventor, designer of most of the Mutants’ weapons and vehicles, also possessed of above-average chemistry skill
Weaknesses : Slightly lacking in combat skill
Weapons : None

…I mentioned Vultureman’s “chemistry skill” thinking of the episode “The Super Power Potion”! Also, although I know Vultureman’s toy came with a weapon, and that he was often pictured with a weapon in the comics, I don’t recall him ever using a proper weapon as such in the cartoon, I always recall him relying on his latest invention. If anybody knows otherwise, obviously please feel free to correct me!

Name : Ratar-O
Origin : Plun-Darr
Group : Mutants
Strengths : Above-average leadership qualities, skilled military strategist
Weaknesses : Slight tendency towards over-confidence
Weapons : Rat’s Eyes (daggars)

Name : Ratilla the Terrible
Origin : Plun-Darr

Weaknesses : Unknown
Weapons : Sword of Plun-Darr

…this was all the info I could recall about Ratilla, who, as far as I’m aware, only appears in the episode “Thundercubs part 1”. As always, if anyone can think of any additional info, you’ll be saving my life!

More text to follow!

Take care…

Chris ..you Legend! As usual, loving your work. will add these later tonight..

In reply to Vultureman’s weapon.. I have a few screencaptures where he has some kind of gun.. I do not remember the episode, but I get the feeling it is some kind of net gun… As I go through I will clarify this and update it if I am wrong..

Chris here…

No worries, Kyle, glad to help as always!

And now, for the characters I’ve been dreading most - the Lunataks! I say dreading because these are probably the “main” ThunderCats characters I’m least familiar with, and so it’s quite likely that my text for these will contain glaring omissions or mistakes. If anyone spots any, please can you help me out and point them out? Many thanks!

Name : Alluro
Origin : Moons of Plun-Darr
Group : Lunataks
Strengths : Able to hypnotise enemies into doing his bidding, or as a means of sapping an enemy’s confidence in battle
Weaknesses : Seperation from his Psyche Club (or other, similar mind-control device) leaves Alluro virtually powerless
Weapons : Psyche Club

Name : Chilla
Origin : Moons of Plun-Darr
Group : Lunataks
Strengths : Ability to control or create, and thus manipulate, ice
Weaknesses : Susceptible to any form of heat
Weapons : None

Name : Luna
Origin : Moons of Plun-Darr
Group : Lunataks
Strengths : Above-average leadership skills, also possession of her grandmother’s magic belt can transform her into Queen Luna, causing her to increase in size and power
Weaknesses : Overconfidence, often fails to command the respect of her fellow Lunataks
Weapons : Queen Luna’s belt, riding crop

…didn’t know whether the riding crop I’ve seen Luna using when she rides atop Amok would count, but thought I’d add it just in case!

Name : Red-Eye
Origin : Moons of Plun-Darr
Group : Lunataks
Strengths : Infra-red eyes allow Red Eye to easily target and attack his enemies, even in darkness, also able to fire missles from his chest
Weaknesses : None known
Weapons : Chest missles

Name : Amok
Origin : Moons of Plun-Darr
Group : Lunataks
Strengths : Physically quite strong, also able to carry Luna across great distances
Weaknesses : Slow-witted, also possesses a very limited vocabulary
Weapons : None

Name : Tug Mug
Origin : Moons of Plun-Darr
Group : Lunataks
Strengths : Mastery of gravity, with ability to leap great distances, also able to deprive enemies of gravity causing them to float helplessly in midair
Weaknesses : Gravity powers greatly reduced if seperated from Gravity Carbine
Weapons : Gravity Carbine

…I hope that these are all OK - as I say, I fully expect my information here to be quite shaky. I’ve also got my family bustling back and forth behind me, so am finding it difficult to concentrate on characters I’m so unfamiliar with!

More to follow!

EDIT:

Hmmmm, you may be right, although I don’t recall if this is a weapon specific to Vultureman or just a generic Mutant weapon. My reason for saying that is because Jackalman also uses a net gun to trap Snarf in the episode “Exodus”, so I don’t know whether that should be added to Jackalman’s list of weapons or whether, if this is a generic Mutant weapon, it shouldn’t, ditto Vultureman. Your thoughts, my friend?

Take care…

Just as I had finished adding the previous stuff in you post me some more…FANTASTIC…

This is really starting to pad out now..

Chris here…

Excellent stuff, glad you’re pleased! I edited in a response to your point about Vultureman’s weapon above, just in case you didn’t catch it.

More will follow, perhaps even later this evening - although for now, I need to go and reply to a couple of e-mails! Keep an eye out for more text from me!

Take care…
