Profile Side Text Writing
…I’m not so familiar with the “New” ThunderCats, and can’t for the life of me think of a noteworthy weakness for Pumyra, officially the ThunderCat with the least screentime! Can anyone think of anything I’ve missed here?

I’m guessing it’s Bengali next - how accurate am I?!

Take care…
I am also not amazing with the new Thundercats, but as with all of these people are free to contribute additional info.. I have just started adding these to the profiles and they look so much better alongside text.

Yes you are correct, lets round up the Thundercats with Bengali

Chris here…

Name : Bengali
Origin : Thundera
Group : ThunderCats
Strengths : Typical ThunderCat strength and skill, also a highly skilled blacksmith
Weaknesses : None Known
Weapons : Hammer of Thundera

…again, can’t think of a decent weakness, and apart from the blacksmith thing I can’t think of a particular strength either. Anybody?

wonders if Kyle will ask for Snarfer’s profile details next

Take care…

Sure Chris, go for Snarfer next if you want..

Chris here…

Well, I was actually only kidding, but if you’re happy for me to do Snarfer next…

Name : Snarfer
Origin : Thundera
Group : ThunderCats
Strengths : Great mechanical skill, inginuity, also a good pilot
Weaknesses : Like Snarf, Snarfer’s dimunitive size makes him susceptible to capture
Weapons : None

Like with the other “new” ThunderCats, I’m not so knowledgable about Snarfer as I am about the others - hopefully the above is OK.

I had a thought about Snarf’s profile, too - under the heading for his name, would it be worth adding that he is also known as Osbert (Snarf Osbert?)? Writing about Snarfer made me think of when he refers to Snarf as “Uncle Osbert”! LOL!

Take care…

Ok I will do put Snarfs name as Snarf (Osbert)

I am trying to go in order here so Next would be Claudus

Chris here…

And here’s where they start to get a bit harder! Let’s see what I can do, though…

Name : Claudus
Origin : Thundera
Group : Thunderian
Strengths : Exceptional leadership qualities
Weaknesses : Blindness
Weapons : None known

…does that look OK? IIRC, Claudus only appeared in “Return to Thundera” and “Shadowmaster” so there’s not much to go on. :frowning: I also listed Claudus’ group as “Thunderian” rather than “ThunderCat”, simply because my understanding is that he was the ruler of Thundera as opposed to just the ThunderCats themselves. Let me know if you think this is right.

Take care…

Looks fine to me, some will have very little at all..

Kano’s Up!

Chris here…

Name : Kano
Origin : Thundera
Group : Thunderian (animal)
Strengths : Fierceness coupled with powerful body, also very loyal
Weaknesses : None known
Weapons : None

…I was going to put “Smaller size could allow larger or stronger enemies to overpower him” for Weaknesses, but as this wasn’t shown in the cartoon I thought it would be better to put “None known” rather than speculate.

Take care…

Yes it is probably best to go for observations from the series.
Thanksfor putting your trail of thought below as well..

Its the Thunderian Guards that he meets on returning to Thundera in time travel. I know they have a gun if that helps lol..

Chris here…

Name : Thunderian Guard(s)
Origin : Thundera
Group : Thunderian
Strengths : Unknown
Weaknesses : Unknown
Weapons : Gun

…I put “Guard(s)” with the plural in brackets, as I didn’t know whether the entry was for one guard or for the two of them together, if that makes sense! LOL!

Take care…

If you are just joining us, welcome to Kyle and Chris’ thread of fun! lol

I may add a second guard when most of the other characters are done.
Next up were back to the Snarfs and todays celebrity guest is Egbert

Chris here…

Yeah, apologies if anyone thinks I’m hogging these, as I touched on earlier - as I type I’ve just come in from an evening out running my folk music club, and it takes me a couple of hours to wind myself down, which is what I’m doing typing these up at 1:15am!

Oh blimey, these two characters - Snarf Egbert and Snarf Oswald - I’m really not familiar with at all! :frowning: However, I’ll give it a shot…

Name : Snarf Egbert
Origin : Thundera
Group : Snarfs
Strengths : Typical Snarf skill level and agility
Weaknesses : As with most Snarfs, their smaller stature makes them susceptible to being enslaved
Weapons : None

…I’m also going to add Snarf Oswald, just because I think the same profile would apply to him too:

Name : Snarf Oswald
Origin : Thundera
Group : Snarfs
Strengths : Typical Snarf skill level and agility
Weaknesses : As with most Snarfs, their smaller stature makes them susceptible to being enslaved
Weapons : None

I would add to this, if anyone is able to supply any more info on these two, please help me out, you’ll be saving my life!!

Take care…

They are much better than I could do, ok I could do with a general Berbil one that I can apply to all 4 berbil profiles… any individual exceptions welcomed!

Chris here…

Last one before I hit the hay - I’m having a great time doing this!

Name : Ro-Ber Bill/Ro-Ber Belle/Ro-Ber Bob/Ro-Ber Bert
Origin : Ro-Bear
Group : Berbils
Strengths : As with all Berbils, [insert name here] is skilled at agricultural work, growing special Berbil fruits
Weaknesses : A Berbil’s small stature and natural pacifistic nature makes them susceptible to attack and capture
Weapons : None

…for Bob & Bert’s profiles, you might also like to mention that they are skilled cooks, as is evidenced when they work in the Beserkers’ kitchens in “ThunderCats Ho!”.

Goodnight for now - but, I’m happy to work on some more of these over the next few days!

Take care…
Name : Lynx-O
Origin : Thundera
Group : ThunderCats
Strengths : Finely-honed hearing and other senses as a result of blindness, also generally regarded as the wisest ThunderCat after Jaga
Weaknesses : Blindness
Weapons : Light shield

…my question here being whether or not to add Lynx-O’s famous “brail board” to the list of his weapons. Technically it doesn’t qualify but it is a piece of equipment he uses a lot to great effect. Do you think I’ve made the right call leaving it out?

Take care…
Apologies for chiming in again and I was gonna ask this question in a public area but this is an excellent opportunity to bring this up here. My brother brought this up tonight and it got me thinking…

In Thundercats Ho! and maybe other episodes? Lynx-o sort of pinches an ememy and they pass out. I believe he did this to one of Captain Shiner’s crew members. Does anyone know what this actually is? It’s never really covered and explained in the cartoon is it?

Do you guys know what I mean?

Chris here…

Wow, that looks absolutely excellent - I love this section more and more!

One minor comment I would make is, do you think rather than listing an unknown factor in a character’s side text as “N/A” (“Not Applicable”) it would be better to say “None known” or “Unknown”? My sole reason for saying this is that, looking at Bengali’s profile as an example, you have “Weaknesses: N/A”, which technically means that Bengali has no weaknesses, whereas this isn’t known for certain, it’s just not seen in the cartoon. Does this make sense? It’s definitely not a big issue and if you think it’s better that way obviously that’s your call - I hope you don’t mind me mentioning it.

Also, is that a mobile brail board pictured next to Lynx-O’s light shield in his entry? If so, IMO that was a definite oversight on my part leaving that out!!

I’ve just noticed that Snarfer’s entry has his name header still shown as “Name” rather than “Snarfer”…

And, well remembered regarding the Berbil’s stone shooters!!

All in all, it’s looking pretty darn good to me - this section is going to rock!

Don’t apologise for joining in this, Neil, as far as I’m concerned the only way to make this section (and this site in general) comprehensive is if we all pool our collective knowledge, skills and observations!

You’re absolutely right about Lynx-O’s “nerve pinch”, he does indeed use it on one of Captain Shiner’s men in “ThunderCats Ho!”. I don’t remember seeing him use it on another occasion (although he may have done), and you’re right that it was never properly explained, but that definitely should go down as a strength IMO! I personally would refer to it as “an occasionally used ‘nerve pinch’”. Why I use the term “nerve pinch” is because it reminds me of a similar Vulcan technique used by Mr. Spock in the original series of Star Trek!

Take care…

Thanks for the feedback.. I noticed the NAME problem next to snarfer…

Lynx-O’s weapon is the open and closed versions of his sheild

In terms of replacing N/A with Unknown that is a much better way of doing it.. i didn’t really think about it..

I also forgot to add Pumyra’s Details…

I will have a look through now and tweak stuff (and remove the N/A images from the chracters who definately do not have images..

Thanks Again Chris

Chris here…

No worries, Kyle, I’m glad you’re not offended by me pointing these things out!

I’ve just edited my last post to include a response to Neil’s comments about Lynx-O’s strengths, one in particular it looks like I omitted, so you might like to take a look at that too!

I’ll try and do the text for Snowman and Snowmeow a bit later on today/this evening!

Take care…
