My question: If Jaga & all head clerics before him know where The Book of Omens is, why didn’t Claudis send him to go get it?
My guess is that Jaga, being a cleric, knows the prophecy of the great Thundercat Lord, whom he believes is Lion-O. He believes this Lord is the one that is meant to find the book, so Jaga kept its whereabouts & the truth that he knew where it was, from Claudis.
Claudus probably didn’t know. And Jaga also didn’t give Lion-O very clear directions which is interesting if he knows.
I meant that he looked wierd and funny driving a tank, maybe if someone were driving him but him actually driving one, I dont know. Never thought he would drive a tank, maybe fly, hover, levitate or use an iamge projection.
Maybe Jaga saw something in Claudus that made him not want the book to be found. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and whatnot.
The image of him in my signature pic is one example. Another example is in the caption the capture thread in the OS forum. His expressions seemed very dark to me, much more so than the other ThunderCats. As they walked across the bridge, Lion-O and Cheetara were looking to their right, Panthro to his left, but Tygra straight ahead. His mood feels very dark to me in that scene. I can only guess that they’re buidling it up.
Every time Lion-O or one of the other Thunderians say, “Whiskers,” I always want to add, “What cats want!” as that used to be the tagline for the Whiskas brand of cat food. 
Well, it could be worse than other made-up curse words I’ve heard. I’ve been hearing the Transformers uttering “Scrap!” a lot in Transformers: Prime. Although that comes off better as it sound a lot like “Crap!”
If that’s dark, then Cheetara must be positively evil in that scene. I call that ‘serious face’ as the bridge is pulling out of the wall at that moment and putting them in peril.
Just a completely different animation style man. Although I’d admit that old Tygra looked pretty pleased with himself most of the time. 
This episode looks really good. I’m really looking forward to getting this season on DVD so I can rewatch every episode back to back. Teasers images looks awesome so far
Is that the slogan for Whiskas cat food?
That’s pretty funny for the Transformers. Maybe if Lion-O said, “Cat Litter!” instead of “Whiskers!”
Saw the clips later. Okay, yeah, the first one was a little Indy-esque, but I don’t mind. Hearing Snarf scream like a little girl was priceless!
All right, I can kind of see the Palpatine similarities, but that’s not a deal-breaker for me. I like this newer, more subtly evil Mumm-Ra. The old one was just so one-dimensional. Like, “RAAAARRR! I’M EVIL!” I like this colder, more calculating version.
I can see both from the still and the clip how Panthro took the original tank (Mumm-Tank?) and made the Thundertank out of it. The original version is pretty cool, too. Again, I want the toy!

Thought it was interesting, Mumm-Ra shows up in his tank but then abandons it to follow the beam of light on foot. Wouldn’t it be simpler to follow the beam of light in the tank?
You assume that they’re only as strong as a human their size would be. Remember in Ramlak Rising how Lion-O was strong enough to pull that boat over? I’m sure the kittens way a LOT less than that.
Even in the OS you saw Lion-O picking up boulders and other extremely heavy things.
Not if he’s going into the same labyrinth the Thundercats are in.
Yeah there’s a thought. The sarcophagus looked very techno in the Old Friends episode.

This episode looks like it’ll be loads of fun to watch. I love seeing scenes like the one in the first clip animated.
Well, I thought the Kits and Snarf would be sitting this one out too, but, nope, they’re along for the adventure this time.
The first clip makes me think of Baron Karnor’s tower of traps, what with the drawbridge and the spikes underneath it. But I have to agree with several of the posters: Are the writers going to have Lion-O say “whiskers” in every single episode? If they are, it’s going to get very old very fast and it’s a good way to start boring the viewers, something this series cannot afford to do. 
The second clip is much more interesting. Mumm-Ra going all techy with his own tank! Who’d have thunk it?
The book will lead its holder to the Stones of Power? This makes me think the Eye of Thundera is one of those stones, which is doubtless why Mumm-Ra wants it back. Both it and the book will be like a beacon leading to the Stones.
Or if the writers are fans of the Dark Knight trilogy they’ll call it the “Mumm-bler”.
Considering what we learned about this series’ version of Mumm-Ra, I’m thinking he uses it for transportation when he has no other way of staying out of the sun.
(and now I’m being reminded of “Daybreakers”)
I personally believe it’s supposed to imitate closer to the usage of slag or scrap as cursewords in the Transformers. But why in gods name did they choose Whiskers. ‘Hairballs’ would been better:eek:.
Looks promising, and it’s nice to see Mumra. Hopefully its not too Lion-O centric. He really doesn’t need to learn something in very episode. That could get old really fast.
