ThunderCats Episode 6 “Journey To The Tower Of Omens” (August 26th 8:30/7:30c on Cartoon Network)
The Cats must pass a series of obstacles in order to finally get the Book of Omens, but Mumm-Ra is hot on their trail. Lion-O must stop him from getting the book first, for the book will lead whoever finds it to the Stones of Power.
I thought that in the last episode. But it also might be the way he says it. I’m starting to find it annoying. And Urazz, it can replace a lot more than bad language. It can replace the word “drat” or “stink” for example.
Babies? I’d go with “bad boys.” That’s what I’m thinking. I wonder how much time has passed since he got booted out of Mumm-Ra’s temple.
Jaga did say the book of Omens is in a “temple.”
I’m glad that he’s still in control and that Mumm-Ra’s dark magic hasn’t overpowered his mind. Yay!
The scene with all the keys - my mind suddenly flashed to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. They need a Hermione in the group to say it’s not wise to just try any ol’ key but they’d better be darned sure to find the right one first.
I laughed when Snarf screamed. First time he made me laugh.
Actually, I see two Harry Potter references in the first clip.
The keys from The Sorcerer’s Stone when they had to find the right key to unlock the door.
The Lion-'s head where the door is reminded me of Slytherine’s head in the Chamber of Secrets.
If I were to guess how they’ll get out of that, I would guess the Sword of Omens is the key to open the door.
The still of Lion-O with his sword drawn and Kat hanging upside down in front of him looks cute.
Watching the first teaser again - Tygra seems really dark. It’s like he’s growing darker with each episode. I did think it cute that he grabbed Snarf when the bridge went out. In Ragnak, we saw Snarf holding onto Tygra in the Sand Sea and now we see Tygra saving Snarf’s life by grabbing him. Seems to the two of them hold a special bond.

[li]Too Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.[/li][li]Tygra must be really strong, he’s hanging from Lion-o’ leg with only one hand, while with the other is grabbing Snarf, and Kit hangs of his leg. He needs strenght to resist all that. Panthro as well, but we already knew he was the strong one.[/li][li]I liked Cheetara taking the initiative for a change.[/li][li]Tygra seems to be taking care of Snarf more -and better- than Lion-O (Ragnak Rising and now this).[/li][li]Also, I think it would be a great moment to witness the bolowhip’s reappearence.[/li][/ul] Video #2

[li]Too Star Wars - Return of the Jedi.[/li][li]Seriously, Mumm-Ra looks like, walks like, stands like and talks like Emperor Palpatine.[/li][li]Also when Mumm-Ra meets Slithe, he treats Mumm-Ra just like Darth Vader treated Palpatine at his arrival (he even gets somehow the same posture), and when Mumm-Ra says the last words about Slithe’s ineptitude costing him too much, is pretty the same Palpatine tells Darth Vader.[/li][li]Didn’t like the Mumm-Ra-tank at all.[/li][/ul]
must be the temple that appears on the wall mural at the beggining of the premier. I also laughed at that scene! dont know why but snarf face was funny! Dont know about Mumm-ra driving the tank, it seems outta place.
I think Panthro is strong enough. Don’t forget to mention Lion-O, he’s got the weight of Tygra, Kit, and Snarf all hanging onto him. I suppose if Lion-O is strong enough for all that weight while holding on with two hands, Tygra who is likely more physically strong than Lion-O, can manage just Kit and Snarf with one hand. I merged the scenes together to show them all hanging as one image, unfortunately the size is too big for what the message board allows me to upload to my galleries.
