I hate to say this, but I suspect that she’s not going to be a regular.
I think what’s going to happen is that next week they free a bunch of TCats from the mining operation. The group of refugees from the mines head off (maybe back to Thundera) to try and rebuild a kingdom for the cats. The main group feel compelled to continue the quest for the stones. Pumyra decides to stay with the refugees saying that they need a warrior to protect them until they find a safe place to call home.
I hope I’m wrong, but this seems like something that most TV shows would do.
I have a sneaking suspicion Pumyra is here to stay, you know she’s going along for the assault on Mount Plundarr, and while she may be tempted to go with the other slaves if/when they escape She’ll ultimately follow Lion-O. Reasons for this could be anywhere to feeling like she needs to make amends for doubting him to disgust for her fellow cats for rejecting him after he risks his life for them, or maybe she just likes him (platonically, AT FIRST) and wants to stay with him.
Seeing as how the next two episodes deal with shenanigans in Mount PlunDarr I’m fairly confident Pumyra’s sticking around for awhile, at least until the manage to free the slaves. She really has nowhere else to go. After that, who knows? But I really hope she stays with the rest of the cast, I would be a sad panda to see her go.
Her design as a puma must have been challenging…i find that out of all the wild cats.. Mountain Lions have the most beautiful faces…to replicate that in the thundercats world must have been hard.
Is it just me or is Thundercats a bit short. I mean they have one commcial in the middle. Then the end is more commcial when they can show more thundercats. I hit guide and it had a lot more air time they could have showed.
It just seems short because of the placement of commercials. You can tell they plan for commercials at about 1/3 of the way through the show but there never are any. All episodes are 21-22 minutes long, just like every other show.
I with you on that but like you said we can’t all win. It just seem like to me watching the show is like watch a half hour of Tom and Jerry. Every know how longthose are.
I think it just seems short because we look forward to it so much. For example, I watch TCats and Young Justice at 9:30 and 10:30 (and, of course, Korra at 11:00). However, in between there is the Green Lantern Animated series at 10:00. I think the Green Lantern series is highly mediocre, but I still watch it just because it’s in between the two shows. It seems like the 30 minutes the Green Lantern show is on takes forever, yet the other shows seem too short.
Ah heaven would be endless seasons of hour long thundercats episodes! Lol! I agree I wish they were longer, but I suppose they have to stick with the timeslots they are given for cartoons. And I agree the bias CN shows toward promoting other shows and not Thundercats annoys the hell out of me too, but I still think it says a lot that Thundercats is still getting better ratings than green lantern and others despite that! Just shows how amazing it is!
