This is gonna take some explaination, so please bare with.
I work instock at a retail store (I rather not say which, Big Brother and all). Anyway, I checked the store system and it gives the next times that new mods are set. Mods tell us where things are assigned on the shelves in the store. The dates are made a year in advance (I figure so companies know when to send us new stuff). The last two mod changes for our action figure area (where the Thundercats toys will be) I think are week 25 and week 33. It is now week 18 (our weeks start on saturdays), thus the weeks of July 16th and Sept 10 are when the toys should be out. I’m kinda doubting Sept 10th since it was also labeled for our Christmas merch.
I can double check the dates tomorrow. If you guys need me to explain better, please let me know.
Thanks for the info VWChan…I too doubt September so they must be out sometime mid or late July at the stores with online outlets probably shipping late July, early August
The sheet actually lists three different weeks involved per mod. The first is the week the store gets the list of items being removed from the mod, the second is when the mod is meant to be set, and the third is when the mod must be done by. Week 25 is the deletion list week, week 29 is the set week, and week 30 is the week it must be done by. Thus, August 20th is the week it has to be completed. It does eliminate the week 33 one since it doesn’t set until mid-October.
I still plan to keep an eye out on the truck and I’ll let you guys know if we get any boxes in.
Grr..I keep forgetting to check my stores system to see if Thundercats figures have been registered yet, which I assume are since they’re highly speculated to come out August.

If I had accesse to the UPCs things would be way easier. Then I could atleast find out which figures our store is getting (it’s smaller than most, so we don’t get as much). I could even find out if they’re in the warehouse our merch comes from.
Afraid I haven’t worked with product codes in order to get any info out of them.
Sadly there’s no way to enter those codes into the TRU SIS System. Only was able to resort to our horrible “search engine” and nothing comes up by Thundercat(s), Thunder Cat(s), Thunder or Cat(s).
It’s possible they’re registered and “thundercats” was misspelled though. It happened to the Generator Rex toys.
Omg I really can’t hardly wait any more, are these most likely to be hitting shelves in the middle of august? I keep hoping to see them every time I’m at walmart. Bandai wouldn’t give me at date either. Can we set up a texting service to let me know when they are confirmed on shelves or someone just text me? I can’t wait!!!
Had an email from Badboytoystore saying that Bandai wont allow them to send the TC new toys outside the US and Canada! Did any other Brits or countries get this mail. Luckily ive changed the delivery addy to one in the US. The subsequently cancelled my pre-order. Bandai are idiots
If you or others have issues getting them overseas you have a couple options:
eBay - but will probably pay more than they are worth
Fellow TCL.org members from the US - just be sure to contact someone you trust, since this site takes no responsibility for transactions made here. But a benifit would be you know a fellow TCat fan took the time to look for the best card and packaged with care in the box to go over the ocean.
It can often be common place for new toylines. Hopefully Bandai UK will release the toys soon after. If they have any sense they will bring them out in time for christmas
Don’t comic stores order from re-sellers or would they get them direct from Bandai? Reason I ask is because I know in the US, merchandise is issued via a distributer named ‘Diamond’ (which I believe is a kind of reseller)
Not sure if it’s the same deal for UK comics stores?
Hopefully places like Toy R Us and Argos will get them in early…if they do get any, I think they will fly off shelves and parents will be scrambling to find them. This always happens with the newest toy to come out near christmas! I found this when I worked in The Entertainer toy shop a few years back…
