Really the poll isn’t about which version of Panthro that you like best but rather if you like the mutton chops that Panthro is sporting these days.
Or do you like clean shaven Panthro better instead?

To be honest, I like him BOTH ways. 
But I really dig the scars…even if one does look like something from the lion king…
I like both the hair and the scars because it gives him a serious edge.

I like them–with the top knot in back, scars, etc. it gives Panthro this really good battle-hardened warrior look.
they fit with the overall aesthetic of the new show
I’m a chops hater. I’ll admit it.
Maybe he grew the hair out to make up for his lost tail? 
I feel the same way. This is a new Panthro, so I expected his appearance to be a little tweaked. But that doesn’t mean the original Panthro didn’t have any serious edge. He did, in spades!
I like the scars but the chops gotta bounce. I dont know if its me but fresh-looking Panthro skin color looks lighter(like in OS) than chops-sporting Panthro? If it isnt me then why would his skin darken?
In the OS his color kinda changed on occasion. Sometimes it was blue, sometimes it was light grey. shrugs
If I were to guess why he’s darker now I’d say it was because he’s supposed to be based on a Panther, which has dark fur, not light fur (which is probably also why his mutton chops are even darker).

I am indifferent to the chops, but I voted for the pro option. It was cool to see a more classic look for him in the flashback and it wouldn’t bother me if he eventually found a razor.
The mutton-chops are kind of badass. Like I’ve said in the “Old Friends” spoiler thread, they add age to Panthro’s character design. After all, he was Claudus’ finest general, and although he looked pretty cool completely shaven, the tufts of facial hair Panthro has just adds to his character’s age. Think of it this way: The new Panthro’s just an old battle cat whose not afraid of a fight and won’t go down easily, and honestly, I like that. A lot. It just adds more to his personality, too.
Now somebody said he lost his tail. Did he lose his tail? That sounds awful to me. Now, I know I saw his tail in the flashback Panthro had of him and Grune and assumed that he wrapped his tail around his waist in present days, similarly to the Sayians in DragonBall Z, to avoid an exploitable weakness or possible injury that Panthro might’ve had in a previous battle. To have his tail severed just seems too gruesome for this series to me.
But you just named it, DragonBall..how many tails have been severed there?
On topic. I like the chops, it adds more depth to the look of the character. Plus he has this samurai look to him with the little bit tied up behind his head.
As tails serve as a representation of lower class, after he became a general it might’ve been ceremoniously removed.

You sir, are correct. I was only referencing to how some of the Sayian warriors wrapped their tails around their waists and wasn’t thinking about Goku and Vegeta’s tails being severed, but thanks for reminding me. :LOL: Somehow, I saw it being more gruesome for Panthro and cringed.
Adding to your statement about his chops: I totally agree. Did you see how Panthro easily knocked out Slythe’s army in that one clip? Panthro’s one seasoned warrior, so it’s ony appropriate that he have that scruffy, tough, seasoned warrior look to him. No BS from Panthro, no sir.
@Balgus82 and TheCollector: Now that you mention it, that sounds tactful and better than the thought of Slythe (or one of his minions) cuffing Panthro’s wrists and ankles to a flat, metallic table, as one of the lizards severs his tail with something that looks close to a Cuban cigar cutter. :o Damn…there I go again. Sorry, folks.
I think Panthro looks good with the mutton chops. It adds to his appearance of being an older veteran general that has seen much action.
