I’m with you there, man. I picked up two of those DVD box sets a few years ago and I don’t think I made it past the first disc.

It happened to me also with Dungeons and Dragons 
But I’m determined to give that gang a second chance.
he-man frankly sucked rewatching it. i still love thundercats and dungeons & dragons (have both on dvd).
I can enjoy most shows I loved as a kid (with a few exceptions) mainly because I usually have a fairly accurate memory of most of them.
You convinced me, I’m definitely giving D&D a second chance!
And I get excited about those shows because I also remember most details of them as well.
I like both the new and the original, but I like the new series just a little more. The character design and voice talents are much better. Going back to the original after watching the new series, I couldn’t believe how funny the voice acting sounded at times. As for character design, the old series looks were kinda strange, although, I realize that was 1985 and things were different then.
Another thing I like is the character relationships. That sometimes the others don’t always just go along with Lion-O because he thinks his idea is best. Plus, adding in Lion-O’s little frustration word Whiskers! was a cool idea.
I could probably go on if I really wanted to, but I won’t.
Funny. On my list, “Whiskers” took the NS some points off 
That is a bit harsh is it not? 
At least not as terrible as Batman’s voice in the Dark Knight, god i will never watch that movie ever again.
