Until then, there’s always the library. 
I’m not going to buy the same DVDs twice. If you already have the separate volumes why even bother with the boxed set? I mean I understand what you’re saying, but at the same time, I’m not about to spend twice as much as I need to. If it turns out they don’t make a boxed set, I can always find the other volumes after learning that.
Well, there’s always selling them to your local comic shop if they sell DVDs that is. But really, it seems that it’s the only way a Season Set will happen. Not sure if emails to Warner Home Video will do but it’d be a nice try to show them that there is a demand.
Then there’s that WHV chat I’ve read about in the Toon Zone forums. But still, really the only way we’ll get Season Sets is if the Volume Discs sell.

But you know, I thought it’d take a while for the DVD to be released. Not that I’m complaining though.
Why no Blu-ray? I think Blu-ray is better ( codefree).
They’ll probably wait until they can put an entire season out with special features before they do a Blu-ray release. It’d be foolish to waste all that disc space for only 8 episodes.
All I ask for the fans to buy the volume discs for this show and ensure an actual season box set. Don’t we all want to see this show to do well especially in merchandising? Because I do!
Don’t worry the same thing always happens with the DC Comics cartoons.
They milk the season dry by releasing volume dvds with only a couple of episodes in them, and after a while the complete box set will get released.
Besides the Thundercats G1 series dvds sold well, so I doubt these won’t.

Do they plan to make new artwork of this style for future DVD releases? They’ve used most, if not all, of the character designs in this style we’ve seen. I don’t want them to get lazy and change the style. =/
One thing I actually like aboutthe CN Season Volume disks is that they bother making completely new artworks for the covers. And there artworks are consistent with each oher.
I’m quite happy with my CNHD copies of the episodes. If it was on Blu Ray I would pick it up, but not DVD.
To be perfectly honest I’m not a fan of the art on the DVD box/toys. Idk what it is. Some of the proportions are off or something. Or maybe it’s because I’m such a fan of the art style that’s actually in the show. I’d like it clean, like the actual show, but cool.

I think it odd that they’re releasing it that fast. Do you think waiting for the box set would contain anything different than the individual releases? I also think they’re odd categories - Season 1, Book 1? It’s not a book, it’s a cartoon, it’s not even based on a book. Same could be argued for Airbender.
I like it except that Panthro looks like he’s reach for Lion-O’s head like he’s trying to attack him and they all look like they are fleeing from Mumm-Ra.

Notice there doesn’t look like there’s any extras just episodes on the DVD’s too. Nothing on that back cover art says anything about extras that I can see.
