SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD!!!
Someone seems to have gotten a longer look at the premiere episode. there are 2 new images (Lion-O and Tygra talking with what looks like architectural designs on the walls and a farther away look at Thunderea) along with a previously seen image of some of the lizards and breakdown of what happens in the first episode (more than what we saw in the 9 minutes.)
It’s not a long article, but read if you like. 
Thanks for sharing. It does reveal a little bit more. That first one has me interested, specially since episode three of the original is airing right now and I remember yesterday they where talking about a site for Cats Lair..and seeing it in the third episode with no showing of how it was built has me curious how this will be tackled in the new series. XD

The Berbils built Cat’s Lair off camera. Though I admit they built it unbelievably fast.

They don’t look like architectural drawings so much as engineering drawings. There’s a robotic claw arm, some sort of vehicle, and a few drawings of a mace (or possibly a stone of power).
It makes me wonder if they’re being a little truer to the OS version of Tygra (The “Professor”) than that 9 minute clip would lead us to believe. Perhaps Tygra is the one who designed his own armor and gun.
Makes me wonder if maybe Lion-O’s actually getting that technology in the market for Tygra to work with.
The more that is released the more and more excited I get for it… I feel like a little kid again getting a new TCat toy.

The Lynx-O bit. This is the first report of him, and we even get a decent description of the character. Possible forshadowing that will be revealed to the masses one the first two episodes air, or an error on this websites part?

Possibly. His interest in technology is intriguing. And how he apparently wishes to learn the most he can about it to help his people adds another dimension to his character. I think this is the first time in american animation we’re going to deal with a protagonist who’s open minded and looks at all options and takes the best of them to apply to his ruling. God I want this show to start NOW.
The characters are looking really deep and thoughout.
Sounds like they completely changed Claudus’ character since the Original Claudus seemed to be kind and gentle. I wonder how a King that rules with an Iron Fist deserves the Sword of Omens.

Ya know what…In the first pic in the first article…the thing Lion-O has in his hand is the same color green as Tygra’s armor. Think Lion-O is actually making it for him? Or that maybe he was making it for himself but Tygra gets it somehow (maybe wins it in that race) and uses it during the envasion? hmmm…
He probly hardened over time. Possibly the pressure of ruling. He took in Tygra, so he must have some kindness and compassion in him.
And quite possible. This’ll most likely also be one those “son outdoes father” stories in a sense.
Maybe Lion-O asked Tygra to build somehting for him, and Tygra told him he will if Lion-O brought what he needs.
Also, in the first pic in the first article, Tygra’s head seems too small for his body IMO.

Judging from that second article, Lion-O seems a mix of Luke Skywalker and Prince Adam to me.
I don’t like how they describe Tygra as a jerk 
It seems to me they will make him the one who follows his father’s will and example without question, the “staright arrow”, a rigid guy unable to think by hmself, and will result in a jerk. Hope he gets to grow up as a character during the series, and don’t leave him as the show’s jerk forever.
He’s a jerk cause he like rubbing it in Lion-O’s face that he’s better than him. lol

Years of rule have probably made him that way, plus he seems pretty much secure in the notion that Thundera is the best thing since sliced bread (oh a pun). As for him having the Sword of Omens ? Hard question to answer. My guess is that the Sword will work for the King/Lord of the Thundercats to a certain degree but will not offer it’s full powers to those it deems unworthy of them. For we all know it’s probably been snoozing while waiting for Lion-O to show up. As for Claudus -
I don’t think the eye has been open for Claudus in the teasers I’ve seen so far. Claudus appears to be using brute force with the Sword of Omens and seemingly obsessed with it’s awesome power. Rather than the more subtle aspects of the sword (sight beyond sight etc).
My thinking is Claudus’s arrogrance will blind him to the dangers ahead, he seems more worried about Thundera’s Pride than anything else. Thus he’ll ignore whatever warnings Jaga gives him. The other question I have about Claudus is - Will the Sword fly out of his hands and into Lino-O’s. How would he react to that ?

I’m leaning towards Lion-O having a far more intutitive relationship with the sword than his father. As Lion-O matures and learns from his mistakes so his mastery with the Sword will increase.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Lion-O turns out to be the first King/Lord of the Thundercats to unleash the Eye of Thundera using the Thundercat chant for quite a long time. I’m guessing some of the Sword’s powers may have become stories of myth and legend along with MumRa.
