I don’t think Lion-O looks weak at all. I guarantee most of the people saying that don’t have nearly as many muscles as he does.

In the old series Lion-O looked like he-man… now he looks like a normal athlete…
Also, in the old series, Panthro also looked like he-man… Now he looks like he eats he-mans. 
Well in the original he had a Full grown adult body. In this one he’s a teenager. You could look to Claudus to see what he might eventually look like all grown up. I like that he’s a teenager. It’s a good compromise for the “boy trapped in an adults body” he had before.

It has been confirmed at comic con earlier this year.
Season one 26 episodes and finished but they are aiming for 52 episodes and pray that they will reach that tally! After the universally positive reactions I think we can be certain about that!
It was in one of the Interviews. I forget which. They said they had the story planned out for 52 episodes over 2 seasons.

I’m guessing that maybe Panthro and Grune come face to face in this one? Or perhaps the ThunderCats meet an old ally? I doubt it would be Panthro, I would think we’d meet him before this, but maybe so. -

I kinda thought the 1 hour episode was just the first title and that they were making it a 1 hour premiere. Guess that makes sense. Well, given the title, I was a little disappointed that that’s all we got for “Ancient Spirits of Evil.” We didn’t even get to see their full force and Mumm-Ra transform.
Ramlak looks like a plant they encountered in the OS.

Journey to the Cat’s Lair
It would be odd to head back so soon to Thundera. I doubt they’re even remotely ready for that.
So, I wonder if this is them seeking out the ancient original version that was created before the cats banded together to beat Mumm-Ra and took the best lands to build a kingdom. And since this is a remake, I’m assuming that it looks nothing like the Thundera version we all know and love.
It might not even mean a Thundercats building. It says The Cat’s Lair, not Cat’s Lair.
Could be talking about an actual cat or another Thunderian or something.
Maybe the Cats Lair is where Panthro is. Maybe we don’t meet him until that episode.

Nothing much else that looks familiar, except for the trials and berbils offcourse.
The Astral Plane episodes sound promising for some reason, I’m guessing sci fi 
Tower of Omens makes more sense given what was released about the show previous to its debut.

Trials of Lion-O has to be the 2 parter anointment trials.
Into the Astral Plane reminds me of the Astral Prison. I wonder if this won’t have something to do with Jaga. Perhaps he dies in those episodes and begins appearing to Lion-O as his ghostly figure.
I’d bet that “Birth of the Blades” goes into the origins of the Sword of Omens and the Sword of Plunn-dar.
Was the Sword of Plundarr in the original series or is that new to this series? I’m guessing that’s the sword I’ve seen comes with the Mumm-Ra action figure.
