WOW! that Mumra looks like it is going to jump out of the tv screen and haunt us. I have the entire MOTUC collection and while these figures might be the same size and share some pieces with MOTUC they already look better than MOTUC. That Mumra is superb!

Look at all the new pieces. Just as I said earlier while the line looks very similar to MOTUC and will probably share some pieces I expect a lot of new parts for Thundercats.
I can’t imagine anyone having anything negative to say about that Mumm-ra…it is perfect!
I wonder if he will have two sets of hands, because they’re both open in this last pic, but he’s holding the staff in the earlier ones.

He looks absolutely phenomenal - both cloak looks work really well, and I love the hanging bandages. This is the Mumm-Ra I always wanted to see, and it has me positively salivating at the thought of what they’ll do with his Ever-Living form.

In the first pic the chain looked like plastic. It is good they will be real chain.
They said on their IG it was real.

I signed up for my subscription this morning. Anyone find it odd that you’re charged for Lion-O plus his shipping costs and taxes well over 6 months before he’s even released?
None of this is odd, for Digital River. Odd in general, of course, but not for them.
Hopefully Matttel use the real chain on the actual figure, as they have a habit of altering T4H prototypes.
That habit they have is being seen much more often these days. Mattel design literally ruined the MOTUC Point Dread play set and several other items in that line. The 4H’s original designs are usually perfect right out of the gate, then Mattel gets a hold of them!

You’re actually being charged for Mumm-ra the exclusive figure.
I like the 4H work, but if it keeps costs down and they already have talented sculptors on their pay roll, why would they not just have the sculpting done in house.
Don’t forget Filmation Teela’s face.
Eric Treadaway talked about Teelagate during the podcast. He said when drastic changes like that happen it’s usually because the hardcopy or paintmaster prototypes are damaged at the factories in China and parts are resculpted. That’s an unfortunate part of toy-making. I see no reason for them to just out of the blue resculpt parts for the hell of it especially knowing how “passionate” classics collectors are. Luckily with Teela she was a pack in with the Talon Fighter and I’m sure they release a proper Filmation Teela.
If there is gonna be a Deluxe figure in this line it has to be Ever-Living Mumm-Ra. I imagine him being similar in size to Ram-Man or Tuskador. Ever-Living Mumm-Ra has to be bulky and massive.

True, but the strength of the product should be enough on its own merit regardless of who sculpted it.

Lol, their in-house sculptors are NOT up to par. Also, the Chinese screwed up and tried resculpting the face. That was out of the 4H hands.

One important thing to keep in mind is that this is it for TC action figures…for those that are gonna “cherry pick” their fav or only chore characters…and dont plan to subscribe…that in its own might be the death sentence for this line…for example if you really really want a Bengali…and plan to hold off from buying or subscribing till it is produced…Bengali might never get here…if the initial support is not there it makes no sense to further continue the line…its a tough but very real situation…Mattel is not going to make 100 characters so each of us can “cherry pick” their fav 10…they need full support so that hopefully they produce all the characters fans want…
This thread with talk of cherry picking, true fans and encouraging multiple subscriptions or it will be the death of the line is getting to much like the ones on He-man.org LOL.
