I think people are just getting fed up with your constant rants and ramblings. We get your point, you’ve posted it 100 times. It just seems now that you’re looking for attention and to start fights. From the looks of these prototypes this is the direction they are going in and for the most part people are pleased. If the Jackalman issue you continually raise was so important to other collectors it would plastered all over the message boards like when Lion-O was shown last year at SDCC. That was a change that was warranted because it was universally disliked.

Quite honestly, save for the one vociferous and incessant (i.e. irritating and lacking tact) poster in this thread, I haven’t heard anyone complain about Jackalman. Quite the opposite actually, most reactions I have seen here, on Facebook and other message boards indicate that most people think he is perfect as is.

Just looks a bit cheap to me, and those ankle joints are horrid. It looks like the He-Man equivalent of the Bandai classics.

I have been waiting for accurate Thundercats figure my whole life. Finally Mattel gives us probably the best looking Thundercats figures ever and some are complaining, I don’t get it.
As for the ankles Im glad they finally gave us an ankle pivot, who wants cat like figures that you can’t pose like cats.
With all that aside I can’t wait for this line. The figures look beautiful, the fact you can pose them next to your MOTUC is absolutely awesome. Thundercats Hooo!

Jackleman looks fantastic, as much as I like Lion-O. I think Jackleman & Panthro look like they are jumping out of your TV screen.

I stepped away for a few hours and magikz found someone else to fight with…LOL…anyways…this is a site for TC fans…i dont think there is any true fan that is really that bothered by the toys that have been showed so far…Theres always room for improvement…This is the direction mattel is taking…they look good…I doubt anyone at 4H is purposely making “bad” sculpts…they want to sell, please fans…theyve done a good job of listening to fans so far…YES there are some costs that need to be kept low, but thats with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING and EVERY PRODUCT out there…if they were to retool everything the prices per figure would sky rocket and the line would fail…weve waited for decades for this…they are taking a tremendous risk after the CN and BANDAI flop…everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we need to show our support more than complain on this website…like i said and like some others have said…if someone is not happy with the look, dont buy the toys…

I know what you mean but I owned the first Classics He-Man figure a several others and the addition of better ankle joints for posing is really needed. Pity they couldn’t have made it look as nice as the Hasbro Marvel Legends ankle joints.
I remember back in 2003/4 when I seen the Toynami Thundarr The Barbarian toys and wishing someone would make cartoon accurate He-Man and Thundercats toys. I know the He-Man and Thundercats figures aren’t exactly perfect but I am so happy they are being made.
With all the unique parts some figures have the only compromise is that some figures will have to make do re-using some of the existing MOTUC body parts. I always said this would be an issue if Mattel would make Thundercats in the MOTU style as the original MOTU toys re-used so many parts on each figure but the original LJN toys were 100% unique sculpts for each figure. Yes Jackalman is a bit to bulky but they are all using the MOTUC buck so it’s to be expected, but I think he looks great.
In Magikz defence I understand what he meant though and I do agree the Lizardman parts would have looked a bit better in terms of muscularity, but Lizardman is smooth and Jackalman is furry so obviously the most cost effective solution is to just re-use the existing furry Beastman parts.

I’m really excited for this line. Just wished it came out in July. It’s a long wait but it will be worth it. I’m just eager for Bengali. Hope we see him in 2017.

Panthro already has real chains. It just looks straight because of the weight of the stick pulling it down.
