Tomorrow Mattel open the subscription for the new Filmation Motu Classic figures… I will be buying this baby tomorrow at work.

I am a newbie with these subscriptions. I am not into the whole MOTUC toys. I had a he-man and two other toys (cant remember their names now). I looked at the figures that are included in the first subscription. The only figure I am interested in getting is the he-man. Will they have that for purchase on the site as a non subscription?

I will have to read up and se all the figures in the Filmation sub. I am only really interested in He-Man and Skeletor. I don’t know if it’s worth subscribing for just two figures.

Thanks Mark M. I hope so because I don’t want to commit to a subscription where I am only interested in one figure. That would be a waste of money.

I see it is only six figures that they are releasing in the first sub and these are the figures:
He-Man® (2/16), Trap Jaw® (4/16), Skeletor® (6/16), Evil Seed™ (Subscription-only figure, 8/16), Beast Man® (8/16), Evil-Lyn® (10/16), Clawful® (12/16).

In fairness that is a pretty good line up, with the exception of Evil Seed. You get He-Man and three of Skeletor’s top minions from the cartoon. I never seen Clawful too often in the show.
For fans of He-Man, they would only need that sub plus a few other Heroes and that’s pretty much a nice little line up of the main characters.

For fans of He-Man that is. I would take the he-man and evil-lyn. I bought the 80’s dvd collection plus the 2000 version which came together. I need to start watching it sometime. Back to the toys. I am not really interested in starting collecting this line. I have the bionic six collection with almost everyone carded except the monkey and missing some of the vehicles and then I started collection the new TMNT from Nick. I also started with the classic TC about a year or two ago and my collection is coming on nicely. They are loose figures though and then I have the whole collection of the 2011 cartoon but not all the different variants though. If I get time I would love taking some pics and uploading it.
For me I would love to get the He-man and battlecat. So I hope they get put up on the store. It is really the only pieces I would like to get. I think getting this line and the TC sub would be too much. I’m from South Africa and are a bit worried at the shipping cost. Our money value comparing to the $ is really weak.

It happened to me before as a non subscriber… So it dragged my dream of buying some of those figures before.

I’m going for the all the gang, Beast Man, Trap Jaw and also included is the Evil Seed… I was not able to collect the first MOTUC run but this Filmation figures would be mine…

I am really on the fence starting a new collection but these filmation figures look awesome. Space is another problem. If I decide to sub with this collection I am thinking of selling the figures I am not interested in. I am just worried about the costs as this line will at one point run together with TC next year. Does anyone know what the shipping charges is internationally? I have sent Mattel a e-mail but haven’t heard back from them yet.

Postage will definitely be a problem for you. Try and find another collector in South Africa and maybe you can order your suns together and split the shipping cost.
