I do really like the Filmation He-Man and Skeletor head sculpts (lets hope though they don’t end up like Teela). As much as I like those figures, realistically it would probably be a lot handier for me just to pick up one of the He-Man and Skeletor two packs that is being released and being done with it.

Mattel just replied to my e-mail. It is $32.59 postal and $83.49 express for one figure. Shipping is expensive. Oh boy don’t know what I will do when it is time for TC. I will just close my eyes and do it I suppose. I will be paying more for shipping than the actual figure.

I suppose I should look into what it is to the UK.
Maybe you should try and get them form EBay etc froma seller closer at hand.
I still think you should see if you can find another SA fan to maybe share the shipping cost.

I subscribed this morning in the By monthly subscription at it is $11 shipping inside the US. $20 per figure…

I may take the plunge as well. I can always sell the figures I do not want. I just have a few questions for those who have sub before. I went to the mattel site and aded the sub to the cart and went to check out just to see. The sub total was $60.39. This amount will only be deducted in Feb. Am I right if I say that. Then at the end of the page under additional info about automatic renewal. There was a date of 31/12/2016. This is when the sub end for the year. Now do it renew automatic for the next year or do you have to go and purchase a new sub. I don’t want it to renew automatic.

The postage wouldn’t be so bad though if he was purchasing them from a country closer to SA instead of the USA.
Not 100% sure. You should ask Mattel to be sure. If the subs renewed automatically they wouldn’t have had make those pathetic videos begging for more subs t meat the goal.

I subbed for the Classics 2.0 MOTU line yesterday. First time subing. Thought I’d give it a try and hopefully any problems can get ironed out before I get the all important Thundercats sub.
When I ordered anything from Matty when I was in Aus it could take up to three months to arrive. :cautious

Hi, you can’t anymore … the subs was closed last year already, but there should be day of sale items when they come out … just look on mattycollector for times and dates.

Join the club … we also wait long for the figures … normally about 4 weeks, but last year we had a major post office strike and everything was delayed … I received some of the stuff 6 months later … hehe at least I got all my stuff in the end.

You have to sub again … nothing renews automatically
What will happen is, when you sub for a year you will get an email every month to remind you that the next batch is coming and that the sub will “renew” for the month.
But that is only for the time the sub is active.
I have subbed from 2010 and I will gladly answer your questions … o also on the money side … if you buy a sub now they only take $25, that is for the sub exclusive figure, the rest they take when they ship on a month to month basis, depending on what shipping option you choose.

Since I’m renting, at some point I’m going to have to change the address on my Matty order. I think back in the day this used to cause major problems with Digital River but that’s all been sorted now (fingers crossed).

Australia is supposed to be a great place. A few of my friends have gone to live there and New Zealand.
I guess I will just have to really think about it. I would love to sub for the Thundercats line but I will have to see how things are financially. Other bigger plans for my money.

It’s pretty cool how these are kind of the like the progression of the original figure designs to the New Adventures designs. Not liking the look of these two though. I would prefer the Flying Fist and Terror Claws two-pack.

Hi, Im new to the forums but have been a MOTUC collector since the beginning. First of having Mattel take over the Thundercats line is incredible, especially knowing the line is going to be the same scale & comparable as the MOTUC figures. As a kid I never was able to collect the TC figures, but have always been drawn to them and the cartoon. Im highly awaiting this line and believe it can be a huge success, considering all the different Thunder Cats, humans, mutants, aliens and creatures.

Welcome Robert. I collected MOTUC at the star but decided to stop when Teela was released and ended up selling the figures I had.

Well that is a real shame. I feel a lot of people overreacted about the Teela figure after all it was only a bonus figure and clearly there was some factory malfunction.Teela was never the drawing point for me when it came to the Talon Fighter and Point Dread, it was always about the TF & PD and both the vehicle and play set look beautiful. Since 2008 I have been collecting this line and it is absolutely a beautiful line, which I will continue to support along with Thundercats when they are released.
