Just got home from work not to long ago and low and behold previews.
Finally got to see Lion-o’s mother and ironically for a Tygra flashback not Lion-o. She is good looking, to bad, must have died ether at child birth or because of the Lizards.
I would like to see a female Tiger in this series. Also I find it interesting that they live away from the other cats. Maybe because the tigers sided with Mumm-ra in the past..and might still be on his side.
I thought of that, and “The Prince Of Egypt”.

I thought Caspan was pretty cool looking even if he kinda reminded me of a vampire!
I think he has the best design by far of the cave dwelling tigers.
At the very end of that scene there is a tiger to the right that has a mustache I’m not sure why I find it so funny:p
It’s basically the Story of Moses. Whatever reasons, the Tiger clan sent Tygra in some transportation hot air balloon and he ended up with people of royalty.
And ouch, number one parenting mistake. That does not bode well. The mother doesn’t seem like a bad person I mean, look at her reaction baby Tygra, that so says “God sent me a baby and I’m keeping him, I don’t care what anybody says.”
Judging by the clip, she means well; she just made one mistake with her words. Apparently her tongue doesn’t agree with her brain.
Seeing Lion-O’s mother for the first time could be the inspiration for a future ThunderCats 2011 fanfic.

When i made my comment earlier, what i meant was, until we actually see how Lion-O’s mother treated him, I’m left to assume that she favored Tygra over him. Just like Claudus did, and yes, I’m certain of that. Claudus openly said that he wished Lion-O was like Tygra, which is a sign that he doesn’t like the person that Lion-O is, and later that very episode, he wanted Tygra at his side during the battle and left Lion-O behind, right after he said that he understands and agrees why the people want Tygra to be king. I’m sorry, but none of this is a good way to imply that Lion-O had any real bond with anyone in his family. His father doubted his abilities and couldn’t accept him for who he is, his brother never showed him any degree of respect, his mother favored her adopted son over him and even his own people didn’t want him to be in charge and as a result, never showed him any sign of respect. I know Lion-O has his flaws, everyone does, but what did he do to deserve all of this? Believe in technology? If the Cats had tried to grasp it they might have kept their kingdom. Show mercy to other animals? Thundera only fell because the Cats were so mean to the Lizards. And now, everyone here would be okay with Lion-O having no one to love, no one by his side? The only character who remotely stood by Lion-O was Snarf and he’s little more than a pet. I just had to get all of this out of the way.
