ThunderCats Episode 17:[SIZE=3] [/SIZE][SIZE=3] Native Son

While traveling through snowy mountains in search of safe passage, Tygra and Lion-O come upon a lost tiger village and in it they find Tygra’s real father. Tygra learns why his father sent him away as a baby — to save his life. But all is not as it seems in this village as the brothers learn these tigers are cursed and Tygra may be the answer to saving them — but at the cost of his own life.
I do hope the previews appear soon. I had this crazy idea where Tygra would be the equivalent of Game of Thrones’ Theon Greyjoy and made the mistake of betting house chores on it. It would be good to know if I lost that before Saturday, so I can at least pretend to lose with some grace.
If there is a living lost clan of Tigers that Lion-O and Tygra stumble on to I’m willing to lay odds that long lost king or not Tygra, humbled by his recent failure, will be sorely tempted to stay after making contacts there because he’s afraid of failing again. He will have to be talked out of it by Lion-O who must now take over the “older brother” role by giving him support and advice.

I’ve noticed a trend with these previews WB is showing us, every other week they will leak one out. I expect to see previews on episodes 18, 20, and so on!

I dont think he will stay with them. Sure they are Tigers like him but they are not his family. As it seems to the fans, Tygra has been with Lion-O and the others for as long as he remember. THEY are his family and why leave them? He would also have to leave Cheetara and Cheetara wont leave Lion-O cause of Jaga.
Yet again they are strangers, i dont see why he would be tempted. Maybe he would think how it all would have been or be like, but even consider it? Sorry, i dont see it.

This episode could go many different ways, with the most obvious one being that Tygra is tempted to stay with the tiger clan. Going with what Sir Sapphire and Rizefall both said, I’d like say that both of your positions are likely in this scenario.
Tygra admitted that even though he doubted his brother’s plans, they always worked in the end. The dynamic between Lion-O and Tygra has always been competitively rough, and although Tygra assumed the position of king, he realized that it’s a difficult position to fill, and has found new respect for Lion-O and his duties as king and leader of the ThunderCats.
In the same turn, Tygra feels left out considering Claudus isn’t his biological father. This goes to being the adopted son, and wondering what’s his purpose in life is, who his biological parents are, or if they’re still alive, or if they even loved him.
I’m believe that the Tygra will learn a powerful lesson, when he tries to stay with the tiger clan, and realize that he has a family with Lion-O and the others. It’s a trope that’s often used as a lesson that everyone has their place in this world.
I think they’re not showing previews (at least not as of now) because of the possibility of a new character (obviously Bengali). Same with the trials part 1, they don’t want to spoil a main part of the story. It makes sense that they wouldn’t want to show a new character before the episode comes out, even though he’s not technically “new”.
