Now i feel sorry for Lion-O, again. Apparently, both his parents favored Tygra and apparently, it was considered bad when he was born. It really does feel like no one is with Lion-O at all, not even his “family”, they all prefer Tygra.
So we didn’t see Bengali but do you guys think he’s in this episode ?
How did you come to this conclusion? She treated Tygra like her very own pride and joy, but when she announced she was carrying another child she switches it up on the kid? Did you see his face when she called him “darling” instead of prince? It was not a sweet scene. If anything she’s now reserving all of that “love” for her biological child. It looks like their mother preferred Lion-O.

When I watched the clip I was hoping Bengali would be Tygra’s father, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case. Hopefully he still makes a cameo, even if only mentioned by the Tiger Clan.
Looks like a good episode, I’m really looking forward to it.

What?! How did you come to that conclusion? Obviously the arrival of Lion-O is a shift in Tygra’s relationship with his mother. You can clearly hear that from the dialog…

On another note the Queen looks EXACTLY how I imagined her to look!!!
I’m starting to think that we won’t see Bengali in this episode since the focus seems to be on Tygra’s background. I don’t think it’s bad though since the episode looks like it will tie in nicely with the earlier ones.
On another note it seems that all the tigers have the same coloration. I wonder if that will have an impact on Bengali when he does appear.
Hmm, I think that scene is open for interpretation at this point. Maybe they told him that so that he wouldn’t feel underappreciated now that a newborn is coming in, as because of that he will not be geting the same attention, as it tends to be the case when second-borns arrive.
I think my heart broke into tiny pieces for little Tygra and the cub couldn’t have been more than 3 all confused and sad, he probably felt like he was being replaced, it’s scary enough for a child when their parents tell them they’ll have another sibling coming, all that irrational fear of being ignored and forgotten, imagine it coming true.
I’m willing to lay odds that Lion-O’s birth was a hard one and the Queen may not have survived. So Tygra may not only see Lion-O as having “stolen” his mother, but blames him for her death too.
Which is the greater cruelty? To have loved a mother and lost her or to never have known her at all?
I hope your right I mean I like to see him but he is a season 2 charater.

This is what I’m thinking as well. It’d explain why Lion-O never mentions her (or hasn’t that I can recall) and explain why their relationship is so strained.
To lose is always worse. You don’t miss who you never knew the same way you miss who you had and lost. The latter also carries its load of heartache and suffering.

I read the same in that scene, and it looks like she took Tygra in as a commodity. She didn’t have a child of her own, but here came Tygra to fill that void. Once her own child is coming, she looked like she would have returned him. Pretty sick.
It’s the first time I see something like that, though. Of the few couples I know who adopted a child and were later blessed by nature with more children, the eldest always remains the son / daughter of their hearts.
Dying in childbirth is probably a more likely (more likable) route. I’m still stuck on the prince thing. If the show is willing to go there, maybe she was banished for treating Tygra poorly in favor of Lion-O. Wicked step mother style!
The sneak previews I saw for the new episode had me so hooked! 
Don’t get me wrong I’m almost certain she still loved Tygra, but it seemed like after Lion-O was born, she had “something of her own” syndrome, that’s what we call it at the animal shelter I volunteer at. I see a LOT of newlywed couples spoiled to death and worship a sweet little dog as their child sometimes for years and as soon as their first child arrives the dog is pretty much thrown out on the porch and forgotten about. Sometimes the nature of some individuals is having something that is now a part of you is something better so they no longer need the substitute.
I don’t think it’ll go that far, even if she sticks around for a few years after his birth and still prefers him over Tygra it doesn’t mean she doesn’t love Tygra anymore. Parental favoritism is very common, and it would be very easy to understand why she would prefer Lion-O since she carried him inside her. I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s understandable. Claudus obviously preferred Tygra over Lion-O (although even he had limits and would defend Lion-O when things got too cruel).
