I’ve been lurking around the forums for ages as i am not a very talkative person myself…
You’re doing a fantastic job, thanks for everything!
The reason i became a member and posting here today is that yesterday i made an amazing discovery:
I was backing up a netbook computer i havent used since last year and one of the files in my
download folder was called “thundercats soundtrack.rar”.
I was about to delete it thinkin that it would be a fake,a stupid p2p or other download but i opened it
just in case…
…
…
What was inside blew my mind! THE ACTUAL SOUNDTRACK OF THE 1985 THUNDERCATS WAS
IN THERE,ALMOST ENTIRELY COMPLETE!!!
What actually happened is that last year i was googling keywords like “thundercats soundtrack”
“transformers soundtrack”, etc…
Several times i was getting into megaupload-like sites or search engines such as filestube
and being very disappointed of their contents,i downloaded this and didn’t bother opening thinkin
it’s gonna be another fake containing random mp3s or comic scans instead…
I have absolutely no idea how this ended up being on an upload site but i looked again once i found
it and there is nothing on google or filestube anymore.
Maybe it was hosted on megaupload or another closed host… but who cares:
I’d like to let all the new fans know that 2 years ago a fellow Thundercat member and a musician from Sweden named Martin Barreby recreated and mixed some of the original songs by Bernard Hoffer. Martin loved music and practiced it as a hobby.
wow… I never noticed before, but parts of Cheetara’s theme sounds like it was lifted from Gradius, and parts of Panthro’s theme sounds like it was inspired by bon jovi’s livin on a prayer (I think that was the song)
WB, you’d be smart to release the full thing on CD. I’d buy Ten copies!
[COLOR=“Red”]Guys if you have a query in regard to this topic I’d suggest contacting the original author of this thread Please do not posts requests to be supplied with bootlegged content in this thread
Whether those posts were permissible or not, I found it odd that people wouldn’t contact the original poster directly. Why post in the thread requesting that he PM you, when he might never see the request? PM him!
