It is very common for the 8 back bubbles to yellow, so no need to worry about that. Any serious Thundercats collector will already know this and not hold it against the item.
I also suggest packaging the items with care as the 8 back bubbles are susceptible to cracking.
Post some pics when you get them back from AFA. Its nice to know that such rare figures are getting cased to help protect them from future damage or deterioration.
I sent them to AFA to protection them. I really dont care about the grading but is is nice to know they graded a Y-80. I was thinking they would get a 60 or 70 tops.
I was going to post some friendly advice, but I just saw your eBay listing and your asking price. All I’ll say is congrats, you will have these in your possession for a long time.
That’s the problem. No one knows how much they would sell for right now because currently the market is not that great. The sure sale would be to put them up for auction but at this time, you might not get what you would have gotten for them a while back. Sad but true. So if your looking to get the max amount for them, you might want to hold on to them for a bit, or reduce your asking price (as 10K is ludicrous quite frankly ) to attract more offers.
The only other thing I was going to say is that a lot more collectors have one (or both) of these figures in their collection then you’d think. You’ll attract more buyers by listing them separately as a collector who already owns one of the two will most likely not buy them both to get the one they still need. I know I wouldn’t.
In the end they are your figures and please do what you feel is right for you. I’m just dropping in my .02 cents.
