Mumm-ra & Lion-o 8 back battery offer

That’s the problem. No one knows how much they would sell for right now because currently the market is not that great. The sure sale would be to put them up for auction but at this time, you might not get what you would have gotten for them a while back. Sad but true. So if your looking to get the max amount for them, you might want to hold on to them for a bit, or reduce your asking price (as 10K is ludicrous quite frankly ) to attract more offers.

The only other thing I was going to say is that a lot more collectors have one (or both) of these figures in their collection then you’d think. You’ll attract more buyers by listing them separately as a collector who already owns one of the two will most likely not buy them both to get the one they still need. I know I wouldn’t.

In the end they are your figures and please do what you feel is right for you. I’m just dropping in my .02 cents.

I agree with Alex - you’ll have more luck if you list these figures separately. Realistically, in this market, the Liono would sell between $1,000 and $1,400 on the very high end and the Mumm-ra would go for $750 - $900. You’d attract a lot more attention if you brought the asking price down to a reasonable number.

They do look great all cased up and shiny! I agree with the other posters though, the price is out of the park, across the street and in the parking lot. I’m a noob member but have collected, bought and sold toys for many years now. My advice is put Lion-o at $1700 BIN or best and Mumm-ra at $1500 BIN or best and see what kind of offers you get. They are cool but I am not much into variant carded figures.
I once came across some extremely rare unproduced 90’s GI Joe’s. I was excited and once I realized what I had, I wanted top $$ for them. Then I had a reality check as to what the market was after I talked to some expert Joe collectors. I adjusted my prices accordingly and they sold fairly quickly.

I posted them for sale for $10K so I can see what kinda offer I would get.

I know they will not sell for $10K…

I just wanna get a idea of the offers and I will sell them to the best offer I feel is fair.

I really dont need to sell them but it would be nice, I would be able to get some of the rare MOTU carded figures that I am missing. If they dont sell they are going to hang on my wall. If the price is right I will sell them.

Hey mate,
You can see it the otherway. Since you already have the rare free battery 8 backs, you might considering selling your motu colection and built up your Tcats collection, for as we all know Lion-o and Co. are the greatest.
