Who do you think the most popular character on the show is, amongst fans? That is to say, if all character’s had a fan thread on the forums, which would get the most replies and views? Right now, and this isn’t necessarily my own opinion, it seems like Tygra to me.

If I had to guess I think I’d have to agree, Tygra. Second place is a toss up between Lion-o, Panthro, and Cheetara.
It’d be hard to say right now for all the fans in general but on these forums I’d say Tygra.
Just pick what ever you want.

I’ll also stick with Tygra and Lion-o (who I don’t like that much). But given the screen time : likebality ratio (Lion-o 99.9% of screen time and Tygra 0.1% j/k lol), I’d say Tygra is proably more popular right now.
Tygra has the greatest conflict, but the least screen time.

Panthro again in my opinion. More experienced, far more strong and still the coolest character. Remove the sideburns and he’s a totally awesome dude.
I think Lion-O is the most popular, but I think Tygra fans are more vocal, if that makes sense? At least Tygra seems to have more haters than Lion-O does.
I personally prefer Tygra over Lion-O. But I think my favorite character is Grune, at the moment. I’m enjoying him so much every time he’s on the screen.
Really? I thought it was the opposite with most people disliking Lion-O for one reason or another.
I guess it depends on which people you encounter when you travel across the internet. I’ve personally encountered more people who really dislike Tygra for being mean to Lion-O than I have people who actually dislike Lion-O. It’s mostly “I like/love Lion-O, but that thing he did there was stupid/not okay etc.” vs. "I don’t like/hate Tygra. He’s a bully and should be ashamed of himself ".
Yeah, Lion-O is by far the most hated character from what I have seen. Mostly complaints about him hogging the spotlight. Or being an unlikable main character. Tygra seems loved by everyone. Easily the most popular character in fandom by far. Than it would be between Lion-O, Panthro, and Cheetara. Maybe Cheetara is #2, but even she has picked up some haters because of the Love Triangle. It is easy to see what Tygra is so popular. He is the Lancer to Lion-O. Fanboys love that he is a serious badarse who could easily be the leader. Fangirls love his looks, but also that he is a little bit of a bad boy with a hidden side. Then give him an unrequited love story where he shows he is softy. It is an easy recipe for making the breakout character of a series.
Where do you find these people? I feel like everywhere turn outside of this forum it’s “Boooo, Tygra is a big meanie!”. It’s true that I’ve met lots of people who think Lion-O gets too much focus, but only because they want to see more of the other characters, not because they don’t like Lion-O.
^ Tumblr is running rampent with Tygra supporters. I think what drew most people in is that in the premier he had so much personality and a lot of range. He looked like he had the potential to be one of the most rounded characters of the lot. He could be a bit of a jerk, but he still delivers good qualities like sticking up for his brother.

What places do you go? Cause all I see are Tygra fans. From what I have seen, it seems people are either indifferent to Lion-O or just don’t like him. A lot of it is because they feel he gets way too much attention and not enough was given to the others. Especially Tygra and Cheetara. Also he is starting to get bashed for his treament of Tygra as a brother and as a leader. And for thinking going after Cheetara is a big game and she is some sort of prize.
As the fandom grows, it will only get worse.
i’ve actually gotten used to the sideburns. they don’t phase me a bit anymore.
as for favorites for me personally it’s tygra. i like lion-o too, but i think he comes off as a jerk. he treats new races they meet with respect, but not his own team sometimes.
I think Tygra is most popular with those who aren’t little kids. Lion-O being most likely the children’s choice.
