Hi folks,
I recently conducted a telephone interview with Lynne Lipton, the voice actress for Cheetara. It was an absolutely fantastic interview and she definately had alot to say including her thoughts on the new Thundercats movie, how she developed voices, how important Bob McFadden and Earl Hammond were to her developing voices, controversial out-takes, her new project and more. Call this a teaser… but I’m going to upload this interview for everybody to share in the next few days and, maybe, Manny will put them on on the website along with the others.

Oh wow Nick, how exciting! I’ll eagerly be awaiting to hear this from the voice behind my 2nd favorite ThunderCat! (gotta reserve number 1 for Tygra, lol ).
Wow, nick, fabulous! This is exciting! Hopefully, Manny can add your interview with Ms. Lipton to the “ThunderCast” downloads so we can all hear was she has to say.
Hopefully, you can snare Peter Newman while you’re at it!
I’m working on trying to get alot of them - Earle Hyman, Peter Newman and Gerrainne Raphael (that name is really hard to spell).. I’d love to interview Earle but I’ve been unsuccessful in all my attempts so I don’t know if that’ll happen which is a real shame because the guy’s one of my favourites.
But the interview with Lynne is practically done (editing wise) so it’ll be uploaded onto the website in the next few days. Thanks for being patient.
I think Ms. Raphael spells her first name “Gerrianne”.
Don’t give up on Earle Hyman (my significant other is a fan of his). There may be a number of reasons why he isn’t responding to you. But if you can’t get him, then at least you tried. Perhaps you can nab Doug Preis, who did Lynx-O and Alluro. He’s somebody I’ve never heard and I’d like to see if he’s really British or can just do a good accent.
Nick, you’re a complete genius, clearly with the Midas touch when it comes to interviews! I once spoke to someone who gave me a few leads re: Earle Hyman, I don’t know if any of them are any good still but it might be worth you shooting me a PM and when I get chance I’ll look through the info I have!
That was great! Lynne is absolutely adorable!!! You would never think she’s over 30 given how cute she is. I would love to support her any way I can!!!

Is there a faster way I can download your interview with Lynne onto my computer? I have dial-up and it would take more than three hours to get the whole interview!
Catspat - my heart goes out to you. Dial-up is centuries ago - I remember having that last when I was about 14. I’m 19 now.. so for five years, I’ve had fast speeds. I don’t really know any other way to get it to you - sorry, dude.
We were stuck with dial-up until 2 1/2 years ago, as we needed to wait for the manufacturers of our security system to create a special filter that allowed us to be on broadband - now, I don’t know how we ever managed with dial-up!
My best suggestion would be if someone was able to zip the file and e-mail it to Catspat, who could then unzip it at her end - unfortunately I don’t have the software to do this myself, but if somebody else does it might be worth looking into!
Heard it last night and really enjoyed it! Its funny how her regular voice sounds almost identical to Wilykits.
Listening to her describe the working atmosphere, the directing, etc… gives us a better understanding at why this cartoon worked so well. It seems everyone involved truly enjoyed the project, and that got through to the final product.
And damn does she sound sexy when she does her Cheetara.

The file size is 32.2 MB and after zip compression it’s 25.2. Not much reduced, so I am not sure whether it would be really helpful. But I could split and send the files if required.
