Whoa Nick, GREAT interview! It was so cool to hear the voice behind Cheetara discussing all that stuff about ThunderCats—and hearing her own Cheetara voice, too!
That’s funny, I had no idea she was so young during the show—I assumed her voice was like Cheetara’s and she had to really “young it down” to do Wily Kit—apparently it was just the opposite, lol.
Btw, very cool interviewer Scottish accent you have.

Thanks for all the feedback - the Larry Kenney and Kimberly Morris interviews are exceptionally awesome beyond belief. Larry Kenney has been my favourite interview so far - very funny, smart and humble individual with alot of respect for Thundercats fans. Kimberly Morris gains insight from a writer’s perspective and it’s awesome to look at these individuals and find out where they came from, what they’re doing now and just everything in general.
I actually do have another interview lined up which will be uploaded very soon - but I’m going to be a big silly goose and keep my lips sealed. Trust me, you’ll like this interview. It’s awesome. It’s not a voice actor but you can find him on the Season 2 Vol 1 DVD extras. That alone should make you guess, the man just brings music to my ears.

Cheetara is my favorite ThunderCat, and it was a joy to hear Lynne speak about voiceing the Cheetara role. I learned a lot I didn’t know about the voice actors by listening to the interview, and I am glad to discover what a wonderful person Lynne seems to be. I wish I could hang out with her and chat! Her website idea is a great one. I hope she’s able to make it a reality…I love that she takes classes at the apple store!
By far, my favorite moment was hearing her do her Cheetara voice. It shows she is clearly capable of voicing the role again. I hope the fans will rally around her in support of her voicing Cheetara again for the new movie.

Great job as always Nick. I especially liked the Stephen Perry interview. Gave a great in depth look into how all the writing came about, etc… I also loved that both interviews covered Silver Hawks as well.
First of all, I’d just like to thank everybody for leaving their feedback so far. Also, thanks to Manny for uploading these interviews to the website.
I feel that these interviews are really special - not because they give you insight about their time on Thundercats and such but also because you get knowledge about other projects - their past, future and things they worked on after. What changed after Thundercats? Did they learn anything? It’s all wonderful bits of knowledge - and each interview had their own perception. For example, Silverhawks. I unfortunately didn’t ask Larry about his time on Silverhawks because the interview was done for my documentary (which should be out soon, too. :)) but as I went along through the interviews, I managed to speak to people about the series and get their thoughts on Silverhawks compared to Thundercats. It’s made me really curious enough to buy the series… when it comes out here, anyway.
I had a brilliant time doing these interviews and I hope you enjoy them, too. Special thanks to Chris who provided some great questions for the Stephen Perry and Bernie Hoffner pieces - there may be more coming in the future but I can’t guarantee anything. We’ll certainly keep you updated.

Definitely pick up the SilverHawks series when you can. imho it is a great toon. It is also very different from Thundercats so its not like you will be watching “Thundercats in Space”, lol. Two very different shows but with the same (mostly) voice actors.
You’ll soon realize what Stephen Perry was talking about when he says SilverHawks was a “weird” show. It was very off the wall, but I love the characters, especially the bad guys. (Melodia being my favorite). You’ll also soon realize why it never got to Thundercats proportions. Its just missing a lot of the elements that made Thundercats excel. I think it still deserves its place in the awesome 80’s toons category either way.
Great music from Bernie on SilverHawks as well.

I’m actually not entirely sure - I think it was one of the episodes she wrote.. possibly the ‘Trouble with Thunderkittens’ one.

These interviews are amazing, Nick…thank you so much for doing them. It’s astounding how you get contact with all of these former ThunderCats staff. Plus you’re a very good interviewer, and I really enjoy hearing your Scottish accent. (if I were doing the interviewing you would be hearing a slightly southern/country American accent, lol) These are all great, and looking forward to more!

I have a question for everyone who’s listened to the interviews; so far, what has been your favourite interview and why?
We’re currently looking at other potential interviews and want to hear your thoughts and opinions on future interviews or interviews currently available for download.
I like them all, but I have to say that so far Larry Kenney’s is my favourite. (that “u” was just for you, Nick! :p)
As a writer and a musician I appreciate and enjoy the ones with Bernie Hoff and two of the writers, but I think LK’s stands out to me because he just recalled so much about his experience. The interview really takes you back and makes you feel like you’re a fly on the wall of the ThunderCats experience. And he’s so warm and personable in his participation in the interview, you just can’t help but like him very much and have a lot of fond nostalgic respect for him.
And what a sport to do Lion-O’s voice and even record a greeting for the Lair! Go Larry!
