WRONG! I never wanted it to fail. I said due to previous experience I would not be subscribing and that I might cherry pick some figures depending on what the finished products look like.
Just did a dummy purchase on the S7 site to see what shipping will be. I put one of those 3.75 He-Man figures. It is $18 for normal International shipping and $42. It will probably change depending on the weight of the figures. This is going to become too expensive.
I received them at an old email address, possibly registered with them years ago with an early MOTUC purchase. It’s possible that new subscribers weren’t included in the blast.
So a few things on my mind…hopefully some of the other forum members that are more knowledgeable can answer some of these questions..

I see pixel Dan interviewe that FH guy corn boy…he did the TC product walk through at Nytf…he was the one that said they were exited and had many surprises coming up…can anyone that is a comic on or has a way to reach him ask him what happened…and if they are interested or have a way to punch for this line…

Has anyone at SDCC tried asking anyone from Mattel why they didn’t continue the line…low subs…financial problems…simply ask them why they started a project went through the the trouble of licensing…doing subs…packaging…retooling pummyra head…etc…just to suddenly drop the line…I guess I wanna know if something really bad happened that made take such decision…I was under the impression subs sold well…the SDCC exclusive was flying off the shelves…and they were gonna make money…

YES! Four Horsemen Toy Design and Super 7 are going to be working together to continue Masters of the Universe Classics. You can all take a deep breath and relax now. Lol. It might take us a bit to get all of our ducks in a row, but we’re all working very hard to make this happen.
As for Thundercats? Four Horsemen and Super 7 are both VERY interested in working together to continue that as well, but those logistics are a little more complicated than MotU Classics. We’re pushing for it to happen, but that’s all we can really reveal for now. Please be patient and we’ll let you know as soon as we have something more solid to announce."

Want to bring this up again. This was also another well balanced reply from Brian. Offering just a glimmer of hope, without setting high expectations. Brian Flynn of Super7 and Four Horsemen both want to continue the ThunderCats line, but they just can’t guarantee it for now.
I was going to collect all the figures this year regardless of the line being discounted in 2017. And now I am more optimistic.

Great to hear from an official source that at least they are gonna try to pursue it.
Does anyone know if these Super7 figures will be sold in retail?
Kinda doubt it. Most of their items are still too small of a run.

So from those posts it sounds like they intend to continue the line, but they have to start from scratch from a licensing standpoint, and reacquire the rights.
Edited to add, that I’m a new subscriber and I got the emails. Might sound like a stupid question, but have you checked your spam folder?

LOL more statues! :rolleyes: :roflmao At this point surely there is enough incomplete statue lines.
I will give Mattel credit that at least they got more figures made than what the various statue companies have done in their various scales.
Why is it always with the damn statues? Almost everyone and their mother put them/try to put them out and the fact is plain and simple - they don’t sell.
Good to know about the license thing. Poor Jerry tho - why would he even bother?
Hopefully 4H and S7 can pull off the license and keep this line going! I know they can count on my meager money!

There is still HOPE for this line! That is more than I had a few days ago.
Glad that at least they’ve acknowledged that TC exists…hope and pray they pull it off and continue the line…and please NO MORE STATUES!!!
It could be that Mattel asked Super 7 to change their message of “TCats in 2017 is unlikely” to “we’re actively looking into it”, to reduce the negative impact that the cancellation of the line will have on the first wave of figures.
Personally, I think is over.
