Lion-O awakens from a bad dream in the darkness crying out Jaga’s name, a look of severe loss on his face. He walks toward Tygra on the edge of the camp who’s standing watch. Tygra without turning around asks “What’s keeping you up little brother?”
Lion-O let out a long sigh and sat down on a log. Tygra watched as Lion-O rubbed his face in his hands before lowering them. His shoulders hunched, his gaze weary as he stared out at the trees.
“Bad dream,” Lion-O answered at last.
“Must be,” Tygra snapped. “Not good to say about the Lord of the ThunderCats”.
Lion-O looked up at his older brother; his face pale.
Tygra worried. “What is it?” He knelt by his side and put a hand over his forehead. “You’re sweating cold!” He grabbed a piece of wool with which he dried his brother’s perspiration off his head. “Are you ok?”
Lion-O opens his mouth to describe what he saw in his dreams when they both hear something approaching the camp. Tygra tells Lion-O to stay there and cracks his whip, turning invisible. Lion-O unsheathes the sword of omens and holds his ground as Tygra stalks whatever is out there…
“I’m not going to just stand by and do nothing,” Lion-O grumbled. “I’m the one in charge here.”
“Shh!” he heard Tygra.
Suddenly someone pounced Lion-O from behind and as he fell, he heard a familiar giggle.
“Wily Kit!” Lion-O growled softly, shaking his head.
They’d been scared by a pair of mischievous cubs. And then he noticed the way her shadow lay, something about it reminded him vividly of his nightmare. An omen?
Lion-O broke out once more in a cold sweat as his knees gave way. Tygra was immediately at his side with his arm wrapped around Lion-O’s shoulders, but his voice was like a far off whisper on the wind. Kit and Kat were immediately in front of him, but he didn’t see them. Instead, it was his dream again, only now it came to him while he was awake.

Tygra growled as he paced around the strange machine. “Why did you have to be so curious little brother?” They were searching the strange ruins hoping to find another power stone. The tiger was going through the books of what he thought was a library when he heard Lion-O yell then complete silence.
By the time he found his younger brother, he was on his back on a rectangular table with wires stuck in his head. Hours of trying to read the books in the library didn’t get him any closer than when he started. If he couldn’t figure this out soon, he’d have to call Panthro who was still sore from when he connected the Book of Omens to the Thundertank.
