Never thought of it. This might be an coming of age series. I would not mind if Lion-O would end up like his father in apperance, and no i dont consider this a big spoiler.

Though are we sure they’re not meaning that he’s 15 in the series the age he was aged to in the OS?
I thought that was confirmed a while ago. And frankly I highly look forward to it.

I was under the impression that it was a natural aging over the course of the series, not a rapid one.

I hope it’s like this. If it turns out like the OS with the “Oh hi, you’re an adult btw all of a sudden! LOL.” I may break my nice new big flat screen TV…:lionomad:

I’d love to see Lion-O as well as the kittens age some!
Well, if Lion-O is going to age, I would imagine they would all age, maybe not Panthro, as he is already and adult.
But Lion-O, Tygra, Cheetara and the Kittens should either all age or not at all.
I do hope its a natural progression, but I wonder how its going to be, will there be jumps in time a year or so between seasons or story arcs? Do Thunderians age rapidly within a couple of years? I don’t see Lion-O going from where he is now age/physically to the age/size of Lion-O in the OS (I don’t mean he is going to look like OS Lion-O, was talking about physical age comparison) much less looking like Claudus anytime soon.
I actually expect Lion-O to look closer to his Classic counterpart in the terms of physical looks by the end of the series.
In other words-- He’s going to add a little height. Add some shoulders. And about six inches of mane.
Tygra will add some height and without a doubt more shoulders.
I wonder who it will fall to in this series to nag Lion-o about trying to control that wild mess? In every flash back we saw Lion-O’s mane was always wilder and much less controlled than his father’s. In the OS it was Snarf that was always cringing and eyeing the hair brush.
I suddenly had the hilarious mental image of them all teaming up to tie him up and forcibly brush his mane.
Whew! That’s a relief. For a while I was thinking, “Oh gods! Please don’t throw him in a suspension capsule and age him 10 years or something!” That we’ll be able to see these characters actually grow up will make this series even more awesome!

No! Not with that hairstyle he had! Gods, that was so '80s! I’m quite fond of the shorter mane, thank you very much. I hope they more or less keep it that way.
Honestly Lion-O’s 80s hairstyle was the one thing I hated about him. I don’t mind the new Lion-O growing longer hair, but please don’t make him look like a troll doll again.
I mean body type. Not hair..that hair just wont work…
No, I’m thinking he’ll wear his hair more like Claudus did in the pilot episode, flowing down to his shoulders.
