Good episode! I really, really enjoyed it.

Just thinking out loud here. Dan and the Crew were pretty adamant about that ship in the first flashback not being the Feliner despite the similarities. It makes me wonder if that means the actual Feliner will be in the show with a different design.

Also “War stone” sounds So much better than “stones of power.”

It was assumed he lost it because they were apprehended in the second episode by the lizards and we didn’t see it used after that. The lizards clearly took his whip, since he had to take down the lizard guard holding his future gun with his hands. At this point I’m just assuming he got a new one when he obtained his new armor.

My favorite episode so far!
Merged Post:
I got a good chuckle out of “Helping me get my sword to work.”

Like a said in another thread… this episode is loaded with innuendo.

That might also explain why Lions are the only ones to be kings. If they freed the Cats, then maybe they are ackowledged like the heroic dinasty.

Next episode “Legacy” might give us more clues on that… or in Tygra’s origins as well. I think next episode will be about him (as Pantrho and Cheetara kind of have had theirs), and we’ll know what Tygra’s legacy is.

Well there is Kit and Kat’s map and the ‘magical city’ it’s a map too.

It wasn’t the map to the Book of Omens that’s for sure.

Or they were on a mission looking for Claudus’s people and their magic and didn’t make it.

That’s how Tygra’s whip worked in the OS. It was tech but you got the impression it simply channeled Tygra’s natural ablities and enhanced them.

Also, if Tygra’s invisibility si due to tech, he wouldn’t have scolded Liono for believing in it.

That would freak him out. Being descendant of traitors, admiring a traitor… will make him wonder if he carries a traitor within.

Geesh, not to mention OVERKILL.

please please please!

Which would make it pretty funny and awesome if someone tempted him to join the Dark Side and he was all “No way, Lion-O is my little brother!” and whipped the bad guy in the face.

Any word on official reruns yet?

So Jaga knew the location of the book all along

And the king did not know?
And Grune and Panthro were sent on a pointless mission for years?
Which, by the way, caused the resurrection of Mumm-ra and the fall of te kingdom..
Was the king not worthy enough to know the location according to Jaga?
But Lion-o is or has to be be to pick up the pieces?
And Panthro isn’t ****ed? I would have stepped on the pieces of that Jaga lantern an extra time.

Sorry, I did a litte catch up.

But basicly, it is all Jaga’s fault.

Mummra; Tygra, i am your father…

LOL

+1. Im afriad they will make Tygra look like ah bad person .
I keep getting censored, I dont know what I can and cannot say on this board lol
Like he’s just using Cheetara as a pawn in his struggle with Lion-O. I want to see him develop feelings for her. Weather there reciprocated or not will remain to be seen. (Regardless I already have a preference for Cheetygra )

This was a solid episode indeed, loaded with history. I friggin’ knew we were gonna see some Ever Living action, and it was awesome. Although I was hoping to see his emblem superimposed on the screen like the OS during transformation.

I loved the part where Panthro of all cats was scared stiff because of the water . Wasn’t Tygra the one who was originally scared of water? Although it was weird that Panthro was so calm when he went down in water, unusual for someone who doesn’t like water. Even more weird that he managed to conveniently find a way upside.

The only part I didn’t like was the flashback where they actually showed Mumm-Ra’s Ever Living form, thus lessening the impact for his later appearance as the huge beast. They could have shown the old decayed form instead.

But I’m even more intrigued about Mumm-Ra and the Cats now. Both of them working together …and I doubt that it was Claudus beside Mumm-Ra. He clearly clearly stated that he didn’t knew who Claudus was except for a man he killed.

Claudus states in the first episode that it was Thundercats’ ancestors who defeated Mumm-Ra, so that clearly means that it goes way back. Since that defeat must have come after the events of retrieving the eye of thundera. Cats and Mumm-Ra must have had a falling out or something. The eye could have given the Thundercats the power to overthrow Mumm-Ra.

But big question for me is, how did Mumm-Ra get involved in technology?

9/10 for sure. -1 for some weird dialogues and sub-par acting.

I don’t think so, but I might be wrong. I always had the impressionn that in the OS their weapons were magical. I’m not sure if Jaga actually used that word, but I had that impression anyway.

Hope you’re right. Don’t want him to be the bad, selfish guy.

:confused:Just because he will be part of a love triangle does not means he will become a bad guy, same goes for Lion-O, as far as I know there is no rule that says that one of the guys from a love triangle needs become a bad guy.
Or are you refering to the whole “Tiger clan of traitors” theory?

The potential to end up looking like the bad guy in a love triangle is great. In fact most love triangle have a bad guy. I dont want Tygra or Lion-O to look like selfish spoiled brats who wants let blah blah live happily ever after because of hurt feelings and jealousy.

In the OS you saw Tygra’s whip had switches to do various things. That’s how he started the fires. It was a switch to let the chemicals go. You also saw him repairing it in one episode. He had the handle open and there was circuit boards you could see.
