So far we’ve seen he can shape change (panthro, crow) and release devastating energy blasts (dead clerics)
I’d say either of those would solve the problem nicely.
Assuming of course Jaga the head bottle cleric didn’t know how to disable or bypass the traPs entirely. “I lead him ‘right’ to you, I’m sorry liono”
Maybe he needs one of them alive to tap the Eye’s powers.
That or with Lion-o dead the others will make great slaves.
Now why am I now picturing a scene where Lion-o and Tygra are standing in front of this mountain of a cat who towers over both of them and out weighs them by hundereds of pounds. With Tygra annoucing sweetly to his brother “After you your highness.”
I swore in an episode you saw someone hit a switch to make Tygra’s whip expend. It was like Lion-o, Thunderkittens or possibly snarf.
Still the whip was tech. 
If I remember correctly Tygra himself didn’t take Mumm-ra’s full blast. His armor took most of it. What his armor didn’t take was enough to knock him silly.
Which does make you wonder Tygra got his armor because it sure doesn’t seem to be made of the same stuff that Claudus’s army was wearing. Style and design wise it’s not even close. I’m waiting for that backstory.
One nice touch that I haven’t seen anyone point out yet, is that the Tower of Omens is IDENTICAL to its look in the OS, if you look at just the “insert” and not the cat arms/head built around the tower. The TC symbol in the center is the top of the OS Tower, and its design is absolutely identical, from the cat logo down to the big cylinder, the vertical rectangular window on the shaft, and the big oval base with the cat-head door opening. Its easy to miss if you’re looking at the whole thing as the big towering cat with arms. Nice homage to the original.

Out of all the episodes I taped I missed the Premiere. So of course while I was typing that up I had this nagging feeling that I was wrong. Heck I figured If I was Wrong well the Folks here would let me know. I Give Your all right I’m Wrong.

This about repition.. You know it’s gonna be there, some are gonna forget, others will type in these threads for the first time and moreover repition might be good for us. To keep track of what’s going on as it takes “a long time” before the new episode air.
My least favorite episode.
The Mumm-Ra VS the Thundercats fight should’ve been waaaay better, but it turned into a borefest.
Mumm-Ra’s transformation was horrible, and I really can’t stand Cheetara’s animation when she’s in super speed, it looks like she’s just running in the same speed as the other cats, it only looked great in the first 2 episodes.
If only they would animate her like the Flash from JLU or Kid Flash from Teen Titans

I’m with you about Cheetara, didn’t like how they show their speed running this time. I liked it more in the OS.
ok i maybe one of only 2 people to think this was an average ep at best, i personally didnt care for the mummratank and i believe they need to get rid of that right away, the casket connectiion w his tank also stinks as well
i dont like cheetarah as mentioned running in place, it looks like nothings happening and thats a no no
mumma wings i cant stand they really need to get rid of them, he looks stupid as hell with them
the few things i did like were cheetarah around liono
the eye of thundera finally showing powers that we really havent seen much in this series
Why? Because I want to know. I forget which one it was, but after they went through a door, the stonge hiding it rolled back into place. I got the impression that the obstacles can only be temporarily disabled. Maybe I’m wrong, it’s just the impression I was left with.

I’m still thinking he made the armor from the wreckage of the machines that attacked.

Ooh, that made me remember, I did think that one lion king looked very cool with the long braid and goatee. Very different looking for both series.
I never thought they were recent images. Interesting the way they answered though.
Also from the answer to another question it seems we’ll learn more about them later on. Someone asked about the Lion that was with Mumm-Ra and they said keep watching.
That whole flashback makes me rethink my stance on what someone said about a Thundercats video game. That it could be set in the past like Star Wars: the Old Republic. They could make the game set in the flashback’s time period.
Referring to the Cats in the flashbacks or regarding more info about Claudus and Tygra’s dad?
