Also, we need to learn more about Plun-Darren culture and why they were at war with the Thunderians? hopefully, if IDW does do ThunderCats, they won’t refer to the Plun-Darrens as “mutants” because it seems inaccurate since they don’t appear to be mutants.

Really? I always thought it was Plun-Darren. But, still, we do need to learn more about them and their relationship with the Thunderians and why they’re at war with each other.
I do wonder what could’ve caused the Plundarrians and Thunderians to be enemies in the first place?
Maybe, it’s like in the NS. The Thunderians were an intergalactic empire and so, maybe, they sent colonies to the Plun-Darr Star System and, like the cats in the NS, took their land and treated the inhabitants, badly, calling them barbarians and leaving them the scraps to live off of.

That’s true; however, what they’re saying about ThunderCats cancelled, I will believe it. WB is just trying to gather new writers who are fans of the show. They’ll be back soon and, hopefully, they’ll get it right. also, didn’t Tanneal say that they’re working on season 2?

Keep in mind that the animation was commissioned to a foreign studio, Studio 4c in Japan, instead of WB, which owns the rights,producing it on their studios in America. SO the cost was quite expensive, donations is quite out of reach…

The show never expanded on that. 
I thought that the comics would’ve explained it but I guess not. If IDW did ThunderCats, they would explain how Earth became primordial and where the human race went. Also, it would explain the origins of Mandora.
