Honestly, I doubt Lion-O cares to hear them apologize. It’s not like he was responsible for it’s existence.
No one believed in technology because they had no reason to believe in it. Correct me if Im wrong, but I don’t remember Lion-O having any proof of technology before the attack. He was chasing a dream and he got lucky( yeah it destroyed his home but you know what I mean).
The cats had no reason to believe in technology. They were not doubting Lion-O for the sake of doubting him. It was not to be mean or hurtful, they just had no reason to believe something from their childhood story books was real.
We’re we ever shown any logical reason for Lion-O to believe in technology? What was he basing his beliefs on ? What were his beliefs again? That it existed or that it was useful ? If I missed it, let me know. As far as I can remember he had no reason to believe in it’s existence, he just did.
He just happened to be right with no previous evidence to support his beliefs . That’s what I meant by he just got lucky.

I would like to know more about lion-o’s past. It seems that they not focus on it a lot.We got a pretty good look about Tygra’s past the Thunderkittens’s past. Also, Panthro’s past. Kind of seems odd that they have not focus much on the hero’s past more in the show.

In CoR, Lion-O said that the Sword of Plundarr rivals the Sword of Omens in power. If that’s the case, why are they so worried about not reaching the next stone first?
When something rivals something else, that means their dead even. I know it’s important to beat Mumm-Ra to the stones, but, even if he got the next one, he and the Thundercats should be even on the Power scale. They have a sword, a gauntlet and a stone, he has a sword, gauntlet and a stone.
I asked Dan on FB about the swords and he said that the SoP is the stronger sword. Or at least if neither sword had a stone, the SoP would be stronger.
Right now they’re probably more even, but that’s because the SoP has no stone while the SoO has the warstone. If Mumm-Ra gets his hands on one of the stones the SoP could easily become stronger than the SoO.
The ThunderCats have the War Stone and Spirit Stone with them, while Mumm-Ra has NO stones. I’m certain if Mumm-Ra finds the Tech Stone (revealed in the sypnoses for the two-part season finale), the Sword of Plun-Darr should change from a dagger to a double-edged sword.
After watching “Soul Sever” I got to wondering about Technology in this world.
First of all, anyone else think it’s a little ironic that a civilization that believes in magic shuns technology?
Second of all, if the Cat civilization is supposed to be far more advanced than all the other animals, how is it that the Lizards (a race that is supposed to be inferior) learned how to work technology with such proficiency in such a short amount of time? Furthermore, how is it Mumm-Ra even had all of that Tech, shouldn’t all of his technology have been destroyed when his Pyramid crashed all those years ago?
On a similar note, how is it that the Thundercats became so adept at technology so fast? Lion-O was the only cat who actually believed it existed, yet Tygra was able to use a blaster with ease and now Panthro is a Techno wiz? How does that even work?
Thirdly, on a completely unrelated topic, Jorma’s reaction to seeing Lion-O should have been Pumyra’s in “The Pit” (being surprised that Lion-O was even alive). Seriously, how did she even know he was still alive? If Claudus didn’t survive the attack, what made the surviving Thunderians think Lion-O did? I sincerely doubt that Mumm-Ra, Grune or the Lizards told them, that bit of info would only cause them to rally together to join Lion-O, which is not what the undead Warlord needs.
It’s not wierd that “a civilization that believes in magic shuns technology?”. Why? Well because tech became “old and forgotten”. Some races survived the crash and the tech that was left was probably broken or something that led the races to go their separate ways and eventually by mouth to mouth stories it became a legen. Some people knew how to work with the tech and use it so they probably used all the “useable” stuff from the crash that they could find (or the crashlanded ship was taken by Mumm-Ra somehow).
You also said yourself this world has magic, maybe Mumm-Ra used some magic to help them adapt? Or maybe cause their ancestors have used lots of tech before they somehow knew it as well.
How did you know it went “fast”? Just cause it happens from an episode to another does not mean TIME DOES NOT PASS BETWEEN, that’s also what i hate with this series. Lots of stuff happen off-screen that we miss and their training to use the tech is one of them.
Why would he not? As a king, Claudus would probably stay to save his kingdom and he would probably want lion-o to “stay way and survive”.
Remember, it’s a kids show. All of it is not suposed to make perfect sense but be sensible enough so kids thinks it’s interesting and fun.
Magic is much more of a natural thing than technology. Humans believed in magic before technology too.
The only reason the cats were superior is because they said they were. The whole fall of Thundera was a huge slap in the face to show them they were not more advanced just because they could win every battle. As for the cats and technology thing, Panthro had assumingly known about it for awhile before joining up with Lion-O, considering he had a tank. Tygra using the blaster easily is because it’s just like any other gun. I’m pretty sure a two year old could shoot a water gun with ease, so why not a 20 year old humanoid cat?
Pumyra was angry when Lion-O showed up, but she knew Lion-O survived the fall. In fact, none of the other survivors ever claimed that he died (even though he technically did in the trials). They were just skeptical of his return to rescue them. Jorma reacted much like the old slave in “Curse of Ratilla”. To sum it up, they knew he survived. Plus, if Jorma would have reacted the same as Pumyra, the pit would have came back into play!
I also think that up to that point the word of Lion-O must have spread pretty fast that he did survive. It’s kinda hard for people to “know” he just did, how would he exactly? How could they know? Must have been his actions and when he did show up at different places.
