Speaking plot/story wise.
I hope that Mumm-Ra and the Thundercats both are able to find 1 stone of power before the end of this season, and I am hoping before the end Bengali and the “2nd Gen” Thundercats are also introduced. I don’t think I want all three stones of power to be discovered because I feel that it would make the next season (if they have one) to be something completely new and having nothing to do with the previous season.
What do you guys think?
I hope by the end of this season, they are in a position to begin rebuilding Thundra.
Well i want to see more of the world as they live it and more about how it was before what happend in legacy, thought so far i think we have enough flashbacks for a while so a little exploring and stuff in the present would be nice, GIVE TYGRA SOME TIME DAMMIT!
About the stones i think they should take that slow, if the series only will be 52 episodes at least make the stones the last thing that happens as i dont really care about them right now.

Why would they wanna rebuild it? I don’t think that’s the top thing they have on their minds.

as for Tygra I never cared about Tygra, and still don’t have a reason to, so if they don’t want to give him more time I’m ok with that.
But I think that for them to believe that they have time to rebuild Thundera then they would have to at least find a a stone of power or two and are maybe to a point that they think they are safe again, so when Mumm-ra kicks them if the pants again it REALLY hurts.
I think it was said that the Tower of Omens will act like a new “Thundera” so they wouldn’t be rebuilding the actual place but more along the lines of rebuilding the society.
As for Tygra…well…I kinda like him…lol

Why don’t you want him to have more time? Do you only care about Lion-O or do you just hate Tygra for some reason?
I just frankly don’t care, won’t mind seeing more ot kat and kit, phantro and cheetara. When it comes Tygra i’m just meh.
I would like for Lion-O to have made at least one ally and taken the first baby steps to uniting the races.
But more importantly I want to see his and Tygra’s relationship explored more, and I want the tenseness between them to culminate and be sorted out one way or another (preferably with a still snarky but more content Tygra as the result, not with him running into Grune’s waiting arms). I think it might get tiring if it stretched out over two seasons.
But WHY really? I think he is one of the most interesting characters for good reasons.
One he is a TIGER ffs. Two he is Lion-Os adoptive brother and Three, he has the best weapon!
Tigers ar just another kind of cat. Yeah he is Lion-o’s ADOPTIVE brother, his inferiority complex does nothing for me, and i’m not a fan of whips. I don’t know why I don’t care, but I don’t. but let’s get this thread back on topic. If you want to talk about it PM me.

I also want Tygra and Lion-O to be Frenemies by the end of this season. The jabs back and forth would still be welcome in my eyes, but they have to know the place of each other by the end.
I would also like to see the Dogs along with Kaynar become allies…I think one of the big three need to be on his side.
Plot/story wise, I want to have learned about how the ThunderKittens were orphaned and why there was no one to take care of them, how Tygra came to be adopted and who his birthparents were and how he came to be adopted by the Lord of the ThunderCats, what happened to Lion-O’s mom, and Cheetara’s background.
If I don’t have any depth for the other characters by the end of this season, I don’t see myself bothering to watch season 2.
Those are all my wants too. Couldn’t agree more. The only thing I’d add is
I think they found the Tower too quickly. I would have like to see 13 episodes around that arc, and 13 around the stones.

I would like to see each main character have some episode centering on them. I’d like to see more about the kittens, Tygra, and Cheetara so they get some meaty development. We had some good moments with Panthro and Grune in “Old Friends” and something equally insightful into the rest sooner, rather than later, would be nice to see.
I also would like, by the end of this season, to have all of the old Mutant reboot characters introduced.
I’m also anxious to see more of Lynx-O, and see Pumyra and Bengali, and some concrete reference to the Lunatacs showing up eventually, but the last I could hold off for another season, since I don’t want it too rushed for this season.
What would I like to see happen on the show? Well…

[li]Go more into the history of Third Earth. It seems that in this version, it’s inextricably linked to understanding who and what the Thundercats, the other animal races, and Mumm-Ra are and how they all relate. This is something that the OS never explored in any great detail. I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far, and want them to do more.[/li][li]Introduce a new Big Bad every season. If they sideline or even outright destroy Mumm-Ra (unlikely as that may be), bring on the Lunataks![/li][li]In a somewhat related note, more direct crossovers with Silverhawks and Tigersharks. Bring in Mon*Star as was suggested earlier, along with T-Ray (Maybe even have them team-up with Mumm-Ra! How cool would that be?) And maybe even bring in the Silverhawks and Tigersharks themselves. Like I said in another post, it would be great to have a Marvel or DC-like universe for this show to exist in.[/li][li]We’ve already seen Lynx-O, but bring in Pumyra and Bengali while they’re at it too and make them regulars.[/li][/ul]
I agree, especially considering how long it took Panthro and Grune to look and they never found it. And when Cheetara explained how long the Clerics had gone to hide the book and we saw those flash backs, it doesn’t seem to me that our heroes took nearly that long a journey.
