I completely agree with you, except that I think it’ll be Tygra the one who gets hurt in the end, again losing everything he has to his brother just to prove that Lion-o has to be “better” than him in every aspect.

I think this needs to be said: Why are we making assumptions after merely a few lines of hints? Who says Tygra suffers from this? Maybe he found out he really wasn’t meant for Cheetara? What if he was just dueling Lion-O for fun and Lion-O wins? There’s not enough info to make so many assumptions right off the bat.

I’m with HeMan. Sorry, I just can’t trust this kind of source. I do hope that a second season is announced soon, but everything else really does just sound like fan theories rather than actual info about a season 2.
As for the actual topic, Kit has shown to have a lot of faith in Lion-O, and she helped cheer him up in the end. I’m not saying they should be shipped together, but she believes in him the most, and she’s probably more likely to comfort him when he’s feeling down. I really don’t want Cheetara and Tygra to break up. I think that would just lead to a big mess. If they have any tension, I’d rather they stick together and sort it out.
And as for Pumyra, she can be a fully fleshed character if she is redeemed. I think she’s under mind control anyway. Her whole character arc can be about earning back the other Cats’ trust. It could be a bit like Hawk Girl in Justice League Unlimited.
Actually, what I’m saying is true about what’s going to happen on the second season. I got it from Tanneal, and she got it from a friend who talked to one of the crew members on the ThunderCats project.

I agree with you on Tygra’s betrayal, about where Tygra got the flower from; however, maybe Cheetara is developing Sixth Sense and she saw the future where Tygra betrays the team.
I’m more for hearing news from the actual network and creators. I’m not doubting you at all. I just want to be really certain of this before I get too excited.

I wouldnt get excited either. This information comes from a friend of a friend who might just be a 12 year old with a bit too much computer time 
Stuff like this happens all the time in the Naruto fandom, only for the Manga to prove it false later.
Lion-O is a very compassionate cat. He values life in his own bizzare way.
Dan Norton has said no one is currently working on the show and that if it continued it would take a couple years to get the next season completed. So I don’t buy a “friend of a friend of a friend” source that says they’re waiting to announce the premiere date.
