But if you have read my collectors showcase backstory paragraph you would understand that i never had the opportunity to buy Thundercats toys directly from stores or even feel the excitement to seeing them at the shelves:(
That sucks. I refuse to even buy music online anymore because I like buying stuff at the store so much more.
That Bandai still retains the master license and will be releasing merchandise that has already been produced according to schedule only confirms that the line is “active,” not that it has a future. There is nothing in the article to indicate that Bandai will be producing new merchandise beyond what has already been produced and scheduled for release.

Dispelling the rumor that Bandai had lost the license to ThunderCats and that Hasbro and Mattel had been actively seeking to pick it up does not translate to “the line is not cancelled.”
That the current product line has rolled out in the United States and is on schedule to roll out globally only confirms that the line is “not cancelled” in the sense that Bandai is still actively rolling out the existing product.
Absent from this article is any statement confirming that there are plans for new product beyond what is already existing and scheduled to roll out.
Any statement short of “the third wave of the product line and the second season of 26 episodes are in production” is not a confirmation of anything. It is public relations double-speak designed to mislead people who want the line to continue so bad that they are willing to believe it.
So, by your standard, any news now is bad, no matter how positive? That seems awfully unrealistic. At least TheVileOne was somewhat logical.

Check the bold. That’s a direct quote from the article. It says their product line is not canceled. I’m not making assumptions. I’m not reading into things. I’m reading right there in the print that a Bandai rep said it’s not canceled. Now you can doom and gloom all you want. But when the people who make the toys say it’s not canceled, then it’s not canceled.
I never said or believed the toy line was being shopped around. Other Thundercats websites started that nonsense.
Honestly, none of that corporate double speak means anything really. Wow they are globally releasing the toys and merchandise that have been out for months. And then what? They aren’t making anything new for this series.
First, the item has to qualify as news. Next, it must indeed be positive. I am not convinced that the article in question is either.

Obviously, if series 02 ThunderCats product was cancelled, Bandai would not be currently rolling out series 02 product.
However, this confirms nothing about the status of series 03 product whatsoever.
Taking that the product line is not cancelled in so far as series 02 product is currently rolling out as scheduled to mean that there will be series 03 product is indeed making assumptions and reading into things.
When Bandai confirms that there will be series 03 product, one can conclude that the line is not cancelled, but not before.

Wrong. When the line is OFFICIALLY cancelled, THEN we can say that it IS cancelled, but not before.
As for making assumptions and reading into things, you seem to be doing FAR more of that than anyone.
You and the vileone are continuously just spouting negativity despite the positive news that is coming out. So until there is definite confirmation, just be quiet because the illogical negativity is getting very tiresome.

I think this us the answer to the problem here.
Canceled does not mean no brand new figures. It means they won’t even make any more figures from the current wave and won’t ship them.
The line is not canceled.
It would not be the first time that you wrongly presumed something.
I never stated that the product line is cancelled. I only stated that it has not been confirmed that it will continue.
By all means, qualify how I am wrong. Quote where I stated that the product line is cancelled or where a representative from Bandai stated that the product line will continue. Indicate where in stating that it cannot be reliably inferred from series 02 product being shipped that there will be series 03 product that I presumed anything.
Thus far, the only one who has presumed anything is you. You were wrong to presume that I stated the product line is cancelled. You were wrong to presume that it has been confirmed that the product line will continue. You were wrong to presume my objectivity is negativity. You. Were. Wrong.
Moreover, you do not dictate what, where, when, or how I post. So long as I abide the forum rules, I will continue to post as I see fit. If you find my posts tiresome, then do not read or respond to them.
It’s good everyone is positive but he is just telling you that (if i get him right) there is not much point being happy “it’s not cancelled” when it’s not confirmed to continue either.
I say the same about the show, i’m not happy until they say “We are now making a second season”.
I don’t see what’s wrong here. Okay, we haven’t gotten confirmation of a third wave. Great. So what? Some places are still waiting for the second wave. When it’s this early into it, companies usually don’t announce another wave. It’s like expecting a band to announce a new album a week after their newest one came out. Just give it time!
