And i’m all for that and he’s just telling you the truth anyway and you still pick on him and try to “defend” the show and it’s toys. What is there to defend when he’s not even attcking anything? He’s still right, and by that you are not wrong either.
Yes, but the automatic jump to negativity is just absurd. With everything positive on this thread/forum, there’s always something negative he has to say. When it comes to this one, he doesn’t even have a reason so far to be negative about the toyline when it IS NOT CANCELED and the second wave has been shipped worldwide to stores.
If someone is simply stating facts / observations like Mummra_The_Ever_Living has that don’t fit into your agenda, why is it negativity? Rather then try and dispel everything he says simply because you love the NS so much and actually read what he has written, you will see he is making perfect sense.
I don’t believe anyone on here or any other Thundercats forums I visit wants the toy line to be cancelled (I visit stores weekly in some kind of deluded notion I will find something new, I am a hardcore fan) but the facts are the facts. What Bandai did in that ToynewsI statement is called “damage control”. You think anyone in the UK is going to invest tons of money into a line that will not ever be complete because there most likely will not be additional Wave 2 or a Wave 3? It’s business 101, pure and simple.
If my product failed in the US and I am about to roll it out to the UK, I would make it seem like it was a success in the US, not come right out and say it was a failure.

The plot thickens, I got a call from my distributor in Florida this afternoon that Bandai at this time is not going to replenish their stock of the Tygra C assortment and so what I get on Friday will be it as far as the Tygra’s go.

I just tried to order the Slithe wave at the distribution level and was told that is not being replenished either. So yeah I think the line is pretty much completely dead as this would be the same thing Walmarts and Targets are being told (if they won’t fill distributors there is no way they are filling the gigantic orders the retailers would need).
This would coincide with what forum member Booyah! who works at Target is seeing.
When guys are stating facts, please don’t label them as negative.

this thread is nuts, how did it turn into bickering all over it? I miss the old days here,oh well but the line is not discontinued. It’s business, they released 2 waves here and with the show airing overseas they focused attention there. i don’t believe bandai has been dealin with this line well but you also cant blame them for not tryin to push out a 3rd and 4th wave when CN doesn’t even know if they are goin to go ahead with another season. Most of it would be waiting on that. Why would Bandai spend millions of dollars producing toys to come out later in a year for a cartoon that may not be on by the time the toys are made. Don’t forget Thundercats time slot was moved around the same time we would have been getting a sneak peak of wave 3. So to me, that would show that CN was unsure what it wanted to do then and if the new time slot would work. Bandai would be stuck waiting to see what CN is doing with the show because again Bandai is not going to spend money producing toys for a cartoon that is no longer on. Maybe I am wrong, but the line is not discontinued and like we had to wait for ever to get the second half of these season, we will be waiting for keeping fingers crossed wave 3 toys and season 2

Believe me, I’ve been member here for a long time and I have never seen this much back and forth either. I find trying to figure out “what went wrong” interesting. Perhaps that is misinterpreted as negativity? I am just open to seeing all sides of the story as opposed to sticking with what fits my agenda.
One thing to add to what you said: remember that what little of Wave 2 we got made it to stores prior to episode 14 starting the new Sat morning time slot (the spoiler of Panthros arms), so the ultimate questions is (and always has been) what happened in that time that made Bandai stop shipping out wave 2 products? Seeing just how much wave 1 product we got, it just is absolutely bizarre to have gotten such small amounts of wave 2 
Maybe it was some sort of mistake.
In all fairness, they have had plenty of time to “fix” the mistake (if it was on Bandai’s side). Trust me, if a mistake was made that was hindering them from making money, it would be fixed immediately. More then likely something happened at WB / CN that halted the process.
PLEASE guys, stop the bickering and don’t take your frustration out about the show’s future in such an aggressive manner. At this point there isn’t anything else we can do than wait and see. To out credit, we have all supported the show and made clear how much we would love to continue;).

Well bandai.com is now listing all of wave 2 on the site which can only be a good thing.
Maybe they will ship more figures in the coming weeks as more figures may have now been produced from china. I guess they have to wait for productions,shipping and customs clearance???

I went to Hamley’s today and the space for ThunderCats has been replaced for some Ben 10-style toyline.
I asked two employees when and if they will get wave two ThunderCats and they replied that they have heard nothing about new figures.
Additionally, speculations I heard from reliable sources in the toy industry (that I cannot further discuss) seem completely against Bandai continuing the toyline.
But all I have to say is wait until things get official. The patient has not been pronounced dead yet and there are miracles in modern medicine.

Yes, since February if I remember right.
I finished my travels and failed to find even 1 Claudus, Deluxe Panthro, Slithe, or 6" Tygra. I did find about 3 Wave 2 Mumm-Ras, 3 Wave 2 Panthros, and 3 Wave 2 Lion-Os, and 1 each of Tygra and Cheetara on Wave 2 cards. Everything else was a 50/50 mix of Wave 1.1 (CN logo) and Wave 1.2 (no CN logo) figures and cards… Not good considering I went to about 30 different Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and K Mart stores.
Every Toys R Us had all of the Bandai ThunderCats on clearance (one had a couple of the Mezco Mumm-Ras in stock). Both Wal-Marts that had the Wave 2 Mumm-Ra, Panthro, and Lion-O had the peg tags marked down from $6.98 to $5.00. The K Marts were hit or miss, some had nothing at all, others only had a very small selection.
Every employee I talked to was very willing to look to see if they had any additional stock in the back, until they saw what I had. Once they saw I was looking for ThunderCats figures, they all said that everything they had was on the shelf, and they did not think they were getting any more in the future.
There could be a good reason for this, maybe they are going to start releasing figures with joint pegs that are the right color. However, I am going to assume the worst until I hear something official that states otherwise. I would rather be prepared for the worst and get a pleasant surprise, then the opposite.
^They did say they were shipping out wave 2. I’m guessing it’s just not getting everywhere as fast as it should. Expecting the worst is sometimes a good thing, especially if something good happens, as long as you don’t bash the people with a positive outlook (I know you didn’t but still).
