Very true! It seems like all the optimism is gone and I have only about 2 people have it left!
Barring two or three members, the majority here has been very supportive and holds a positive attitude towards the present state concerning Thundercats cancellation rumor. The fans have been a pillar of support for the NS. It’s worth mentioning that we have done everything possible from buying figs to spreading the word or directly contacting CN and Bandai. i don’t think 3 months ago nobody wanted to believe this rumor, personally i still don’t believe it unless it’s official. However, if the worst case scenario occurs, we have to see what went wrong and analyze it further.
Of course the fans are the only part who isn’t responsible, for the aforementioned reasons.
Sometimes stating a real opinion with passionate fans, will speak in volumes (Good/Bad)! I’m sure a lot of us wants the best for this franchise, with that said we LOVE the new series but are on the fence about the current toy line by Bandai…I understand what you/ alot of us are saying by supporting the line (believe me we support as much as possible) but we fans what more than just a few figures than Bandai (no new ones since early 2012) is releasing then they happen to not meet most our standards…if I’m spending my hard earn money I want the BEST not mediocre! (with that said I have most of the 6" collector’s figures and sword of omens b/c I thought they were alright and it’s Thundercats)
Instead of complaining, I’ve taken the initiative long ago to contact WB to let them knowing how I wanted them to continue the new series but asked them to replace Bandai with another toy company that will do a better job for us passionate toy collectors & putting out better ThunderCats action figures…If Bandai had done their best with the line we wouldn’t be in this situation!

It is a real shame. Someone has to be held accountable for the present state,on thing is for sure, the fans have done their part, we’ve all embraced the NS, even the figs despite their mediocre quality. If the young kids didn’t respond to their numbers and rates, at least as much as they had planned for, it’s not our fault. Deciding to kill Tcats 2011 is disgrace.
We don’t know if the series itself has been killed, but the toyline was, and it’s Bandai and CN’s fault. They both should have some sort of reparation for doing such a thing.
Can we just make a rule that no one is allowed to say “the toyline is cancelled” untill bandai officially tells us? God this is becoming so annoying. Every thread is like this now.

Why can’t we have a freedom of speech or opinions here w/o shutting this down? If people feel offended by the postings then they simply should not partake in this events (not trying to be rude here)…Of course we will love official press from Bandai considering this topic (but that’s not happening as of now) and I will love to hear people’s point of view on this, as long as we keep it professional…I see no problem =)
The problem is the risk of people being unprofessional and saying stuff like “E-mail Bandai at this link and tell them to bring it back (posts random link)! We can do this!” on this thread. I, for one, am trying to be as optimistic and professional as possible. There is also always the unproffesional pessimistic (TheVileOne) ones that just say the show will fail after the first season concludes no matter what.
No thread is going to be shut down, this particular thread is very important for the future of Tcats 2011. I have copy pasted exactly what is shown on every Bandai Thundercats procuct on Amazon’s site.
So we aren’t discussing matters up in the air. This evidence is bad, still a major solid point attesting to the cancellation rumor going around. I am not saying that necessarily the show will get cancelled if the Toy line dies because there is always the possibility of another company giving a shot on Thundercats. Still it goes w/o saying difficulties and questions are raised now about the future. I totally agree we shouldn’t be negative but given the situation at hand neither turn a blind eye.
I am a realist in my life because this helps me to clear things out and evaluate better any difficulty. i would lie if i told you that the next few weeks aren’t crucial for the Tcats future.
I think the thread should stay, we just need to make sure people are not stupid about the continuation of the series.

Same goes for anyone who believes the Bandai toyline is over (since the evidence is kinda stacking up) We all should be able to respect all opinions whether negative or positive 
I agree with Lordore that time will tell. Hopefully by SDCC we should know more.

My personal take on Bandai toy line is that it is awesome what i sense that majority of individuals seem to compare the existing toy line with the original toy line which to me is meaningless as its not an apple to apple comparison. On the other hand, we should cherish whatever we got from Bandai at least i love their claudus, 6 inch tygra, lion o and panthro figures. Their 8 inch classic i believe was awesome infact their 8 inch lion o in my opinion was the best of the lot even when comparing it with generation 1 thundercats.
Lets support the toy line and stop saying that bandai did a pathetic job remember its targeting younger generation.
We have new video game even coming out which at least i have been waiting for years.
I already knew this last February. I wasn’t rooting for the show to fail. I love the show.
Bandai USA is a terrible company and they made disappointing toys for the show. No new toys were shown for this year at Toy Fair 2012. People here claimed it was because new toys were just released months before which was bull. The toy line was already cancelled long ago.
