Um, so I saw this http://www.tvguide.com/News/Green-Lanterns-New-Guy-1049797.aspx and wondered, “Hmm, didn’t Marisha say something about it being cancelled?”
If this show can be renewed, I have a feeling TCats can be as well. This show had abysmal ratings from the start, and if CN can do math, they should realize that TCats got higher ratings. Therefore, this is more of a reason to renew the show.
This may also mean they could announce that TCats is going to have a second season, but it’s still very cryptic as of now.
I get the feeling we’ll know soon enough from Comic Con. Considering this news was leaked just as it’s starting I think is more than mere coincidence. It’s also been reported that The Legend of Korra has also been renewed for a season 2, with 26 more episodes on top of that (to the surprise I’m guessing of absolutely no one).
So with all this news trickling out, I’m sure we’ll hear something about Thundercats very shortly. I’m going to be optimistic and figure it’ll be good!
I actually kind of like Green Lantern, so it’s doubly good for me.
I’m keeping the faith something will happen with “ThunderCats.”
I wonder how expensive GL is to produce compared to TCats. TCats is a pretty expensive show I think, but CG is supposed to be expensive as well.
I can only imagine it would be more than TCats.
CG is cheaper. That’s why many shows went over to that then “standard animation”.
Though TC has some CG in it as well.
I’m just going to sit still and patiently wait for ThunderCats.
Was GL even being considered for cancellation? I’d read somewhere that it was put on hold to fit with the new DC block Cartoon Network is airing. (GL, Teen Titans: Go, and a new Batman series)
Kind of in line with that; does anyone know if it’s true that Michael Jelenic is going to be working on Teen Titans: Go? It’d be cool if he did that and Thundercats.
The DC block has been airing for awhile. I haven’t watched CN since the finale of ThunderCats (no kidding, not even Adult Swim), so I really don’t know. I heard a slew of cancellation rumors since its ratings were terrible from the start. And the new Teen Titans show won’t be out until next year.
Right now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

That way it sounds like Green Lantern is “Green” for another season. If they would not do re-runs of course.
The strange thing is I had heard Young Justice had been canceled as well.
Awesome, 26 eps, really like that show.
With regards to TC I retain my pessimism, so that I can only be pleasantly surprised 
I’m trying to refrain from stating my disappointment in this series.

You hating on Korra? It’s amazing in almost all aspects O_O At least it’s not as crazy and weird as this new Thundercats.
Young Justice is also great, i just love superheroes!
Terrible writing, rushed endings with one of the worst Deus Ex-Machinas ever, and no character development? Please. I’d watch Teen Titans, The Last Airbender (show, not movie), ThunderCats, and Young Justice over that any day. It is hands down one of the biggest disappointments I have ever felt in my life.
Anyway, I don’t know about YJ getting cancelled. I’ve heard a few rumors as well.
I’d much rather see Kyle Rayner join the GL cast than Guy Gardner, but that’s just me. Kyle always was my favorite Lantern.
