I am in the unfortunate position to inform you that i wouldn’t be able to visit the site as well as respond to my duties as a moderator for the TCL Site for the coming 9 months due to my military service which starts this Monday 2/5. Conscription is compulsory in Greece, the length of a tour has varied historically between 12-36 months depending on various factors, mainly political. I should consider myself lucky because as of 2009 the mandatory service was reduced to 9-10 months.
As a draftee i will be serving my tour away from my place of residence, most likely to the Northern borders of Greece. Practically, this means that i will live in a military camp to train and practice on a daily basis. Of course access to the internet, laptops and other amenities aren’t accesible to the soldiers, at least these goods aren’t offered here in Greece while on duty. Every one or two months i will probably have a leave of absence of 2-5 days maximum. Rest assured, I will try to visit the Lair at first chance. I am really sorry for this.. I know i am gonna miss all the action in the summer as well as miss some very good friends here… I am wishing to everyone to have a great summer with lot of New Thundercats in the limelight:thumbsup:
Sadness, I have enjoyed reading your thoughts on the show and this means you won’t be here when the show premieres to give your thoughts about it. I hope you have a good nine months and remain safe!
Awww, I’m really going to miss you! I really enjoyed your posts and even though you were only a moderator for a short period of time, you did a fantastic job.

Back in October 2009 when i first joined the Lair not even in my wildest dreams did it ever cross my mind that i would have made such good friends from so far away, and despite the fact that we have never met in person but through our joint love and passion for Thundercats we have reached out to each other in a special and unique way, discussing and sharing opinion on various issues almost on a daily basis. From the bottom of my heart i’ll miss you all a lot. Just take care of yourselves and no matter how long it takes i will be back home..in the Lair. I am moved to tears…Can’t say anything else..

First and foremost one big Hello to all my Thundermates in the forum. I’ve been missing every one of you. I am very happy that our Site is still running smoothly and on top speed,exactly as i left it, as the big(premiere) day approaches.
It’s been over two months since i last visited the Site and i am blown away by the current news!! So it’s set ON Friday 29 At 8 pm the cats are roaring back on the screen!! and i just checked the official site o CN!! The new production images as well as the latest trailer is awesome.
My military service so far is pretty rough and has tired me out a lot. I expected to be less strenuous but unfortunately it didn’t turn out to be as i had it in my mind. I was selected to join the Greek military force stationed in Cyprus, it’s called ELDYK and it’s a special unit which undergoes a hard training program on a daily basis. Eldyk participated actively in several battles against the Turkisk invasion of Cyprus in 1974, ever since then the relationship between the two countries is on the ropes. Generally ELDYK is considered to have one of the best and most drastic infantry on the Mediterranean. I am really exhausted and i wish i had more free time to join the forum but our General has placed a strain on every soldier in the camp…In my spare time, i go to sleep because at the end of the day i am really exhausted.
aero, my friend thanks for your concern. i hear things in Greece are going pretty bad but we don’t get to much info of the situation. Some friends tell me it’s on a slippery slope.I am very frustrated about that too.
Sooner or later i will return guys, take care of yourselves and just to let you know, whenever i am down i hark back to my Thunderdays to psych me up!
