I would also like to welcome the new fans who have joined our Site.
It took me some time to post but September was a difficult month for my military service, especially now, following the decision by Cyprus President Nicosia to begin natural gas and oil exploration in Cyprus’s Exclusive Economic Zone, there is a certain tension between Turkey and Cyprus.
Turkey, whose troops occupy the Northern part of Cyprus since they invaded in1974 is the only country in the world which doesn’t recognize the Republic of Cyprus, so as you understand both sides want to benefit from the natural resources of the island. Talks are currently underway between the leaders of the two communities in Cyprus to reach a negotiated settlement that would reunify the island. However, we learned that Turkey has deployed wardship in the Eastern Mediterranean so the military unit I belong has been preparing for any offensive action…I really hope the diplomatic sources will peacefully solve the issue.. sorry for my droning guys but i wanted to brief you up about my situation.:liono
I still have 4 months to fulfill my service..to put it metaphorically, my desire to return to Greece and be a civilian again resembles to Lion-o’s longing for going back to Thundera after spending time in the foreign Third Earth. :lionomad:
I was granted a 5 days leave, so for the next few days I will be joining the Site as often as possible.
I have managed to watch the first 6 episodes, I was blown away by the depth of the story of Old Friends and Journey to the Old Thundera. I think the writers are doing very well by tying to delve into the origin and back story of Thundercats and their rich history. All the old fans who loved the 80’s cartoon were left with many unanswered questions. I certainly see a mature approach in the plot as well as to the emphasis laid on the continuity between the episodes.
BTW, I received, through the assistance of a good friend because I wasn’t home!, the PF Lion-o EX. By Pop Culture Shock. I opened him just yesterday, By Jaga he is so awesome!! I promise to post some HD pics as soon as I get the chance. Jerry did a fantastic job with this wild cat, I wasn’t expecting him to be so majestic.
What’s up with you guys? You do know I miss being around here a lot..
What people say about the new Series? Unfortunately, I don’t get to read a lot but I think there is a general consensus among the old and new supporters that it is a great reboot, indeed!!

but yes we got some more members and the sites been busy with new fans of the show as well as the original
hopefully they will have bettr eps though when they return from there hiatus as i havent found anything special bout it as of yet.
Rest assured, in a few months i will be back for good. I miss a lot posting here, i know that i’ve missed most of the action with the arrival of the new series. Also, i have compiled a list of the new Thundercats merchandise related products that are out now and i want to purchase right after i finish with the army. Bandai Classic Lion-o, the SDCC version comes first in my priorities.:liono

I am in the very happy position to tell you that my military service is over and i am back to Greece and a citizen again!!!
After 9 difficult and strenuous months i have returned for good.
I hope everyone is great and the Lair is running as smooth as always, one thing is for sure i have a lot of catching up to do but that is the fan part!!
Personal thanks to all the old friends here who kept in touch with me during this time, i appreciate it!!

I know there is a lot going on and i need to catch on, i got this early shipping notice for Mumm-ra and from i’ve been seeing he does look awesome, some fans suggest he is even cooler than Lion-O:liono.
I am waiting 1-2 days to see if Jerry will mention anything about AP, otherwise i will go fore the EX from SS.
