Game: ThunderCat Trivia

Not really what I was thinking of, I was thinking more of times where we can see it changing direction. Although some of them are arguably admissible.

The two I had in mind were both from season 3, if that’s any help. One of them is notable for another reason, which I may use as a later trivia question if the detail is not picked up on here.

Hmmmm. In, ThunderCubs Part IV and The Jade Dragon, the signal goes out in a straight line, and then an additional red beam branches off to do something important. Also, not sure how I forgot it, but in The Circus Train it goes out straight and then curves around to hit the BASH button.

I give up now!

At last! “The Circus Train” (or, if you prefer, “The Complete Tripefest”) was one of the two I was thinking of!

OK, Zax, you got the bulk of the answers.

One answer that nobody got was “Bracelet Of Power”, when Lion-O uses it to knock

Anyway, ZAX, you’re up next.

When the ThunderCats return to New Thundera, leaving Tygra and Pumyra behind, what other characters do they leave in charge, and what is the collective name for this group?

You just had to go down there, didn’t you? (just kidding, but I’m still fuming about that ;))

I thknk the group was called “Counsil of Good”, and it included Mandora, Snowman and Snowmeow, Willa and Nayda, Robear Bill and Robear Belle, Hachiman and I think someone else, or maybe not… I’m sure it wasn’t Turmagar although he would have been a better choice han Mandora otr Hachiman, but can’t remember who it was (or was it Turmagar?).

Maybe he volunteered. Maybe he preferred the solitude of the Tower of Omens to the not-quite-Thundera feeling of New Thundera. Or maybe they just screwed him over.

You’ve got the people right (Mandora, Willa, Nayda, Snowman, Snowmeow, RoBear Bill, RoBear Belle—no one else), but the name wrong.

Okay, well, no one else is biting. The name that Lion-O gives to the group is the “League of Third Earth”. Tygra_Rules, you got the members correct, so you’re up.

Thanks! Let me think of a good one.

OK, here it goes.

We know, as we were shown in “Exodus”, that each TC was given special clothes by Jaga, and as far as we knew, they all recieved one set of their clothes. But there was one episode in which it was hinted, through the view of one TC’s closet, that they had more than one set of their clothes.

Which episode and TC am I talking about?

If I’m not mistaken, it was Cheetara. I remember a scene showing her cupboard which was full of costumes identical to the one she normally wears. But I can’t remember which episode it was from. Was it “Dimension Doom”?

You’re 100% right, Wilycub! Your turn!

Uh-oh. I’m pretty sure that Wilycub is only 50% right. The episode isn’t “Dimension Doom”. It’s something else… “The Mumm-Ra Berbil”, maybe?

Now you made me doubt, Zax. I’ll check it tomorrow.

I can confirm it IS “The Mumm-Ra Berbil”, Zax is right, so (and I know it wasn’t my question so TR this is sort of pending your approval) I’d say it’s Zax’s turn next, because he got the more important detail you were looking for.

I agree with Liam in that it should be Zax’s turn next as technically he got the answer correct. I only had a vague memory of that scene and didn’t get the episode right either.

I think Liam’s right, as the episode was way harder to remember than the character. I got confused myself!

Your turn then, Zax.

Sorry it’s taken me so long. I was having trouble coming up with a question.

When Season 1 Volume 1 of ThunderCats was first released on DVD, Warner Brothers offered a replacement program for one of the disks because a certain episode was missing its musical score. Which episode was it?

To be fair, this question isn’t about the show itself, but it’s a fun bit of trivia that I’m guessing some folks on here might remember.

If memory serves me well this was on disc 1, episode 2; The Unholy Alliance. Correct?

That’s the one! We were supposed to mail the musicless disc back once we received the fixed one, but I kept both. :mischievous:

Okay, kinda running out of idea’s… BUT I thought of 1…

What’s the connection between Pumm-Ra and Shia LeBeouf?
