I almost listed that one, but I thought that they were unable to lift it in the end, and that they wound up having to grapple it to Slithe’s NoseDiver to get it righted.
Wow, there really were a lot of them! Okay, let’s try a new one:
Usually, Mumm-Ra uses his Ever-Living form when he leaves his Pyramid. There are a few occasions, though, when we see him out and about in his decayed form. What are they?
Moments in which he is forced to revert to that form in defeat (Pumm-Ra, The Transfer, Key to Thundera, Return to Thundera Part III, etc.) do not count. I’m looking for instances of him deliberately assuming his decayed form away from home. I can think of six—there may be more.
Great job, WilyCub! There are at least two more. And, hey, I’ll give you virtual Mumm-Ras in addition to real ones. There’re at least two other instances of that apart from “Ho! Part I”.
I could only think of “Dinension Doom” (Mumm-Ra was outside the pyramed wearing Wizz-Ra’s helmet when the latter confronted the TCs).
I think, but am not 100% sure, he was in his mummy self in the first episode of “Mumm-Ra Lives”, when visiting the place where the Lunatacks were turned into stone, before realising them.
There’s “Fond Memories”, right at the start when he assembles the pictures.
Also, picking up on a trivia question from last week, I tried to say this at the time but the computer wouldn’t post it, instances of Thundercats not responding to the Sword’s summons:
Tygra and Cheetara in “The Unholy Alliance” didn’t see the signal for some unexplained reason.
I’m assuming though that Panthro in “The Slaves Of Castle Plun-Darr” and Tygra in “Trouble With Time” don’t count, as they were the ones who needed rescuing.
Yes, I thought of the latter ones but, as you said, Panthro and Tygra were the ones in need, so they don’t count
About “The Unholly Alliance”, I didn’t consider it becauese it wasn’t that Tygra and Cheetara couldn’t attend in Lion-o’s help, it’s that they didn0’t see it, we don’t know why. Same with many eps (in “Terror of Hammerhand”, we can ssume Tygra didn’t see it, same with Cheetara in “Superpower Potion” or “The Mountain”, and all those eps in which a TC didn’t make an appearence, we can assume they didn’t see the sign, especially in the 2nd season). My question was directed to those situations in which, even seeing teh signal, a TC couldn’t go in Lion-o’s help (maybe I should have expressed myself clearer).
And that’s the other. Of course, there may be more that we’re not thinking of…
He’s in his decayed form at the beginning, when Ma-Mutt rescues him from the ruins of Fire Rock Mountain. That one doesn’t count, since he’s weak and not in that form by choice. Later in that same episode, though, we have an appearance by one of our virtual Mumm-Ras! :mummra: At Castle Plun-Darr, Ma-Mutt disguised as Mumm-Ra (and arguably channeling him) appears to the Mutants to tell them where to find the Lunatacks.
The other virtual Mumm-Ra appearance also involves Ma-Mutt, Castle Plun-Darr, and the Mutants. It’s in “Return to Thundera! Part IV”, when Ma-Mutt frees the Mutants from the Circus Train and then projects an image of Mumm-Ra (out of his mouth!), who delivers them instructions.
So… WilyCub has 6 Tygra_Rules has 2 LiamABC has 1
I think it’s safe to give this one to WilyCub. Congrats!
Thank you, “Zax”! I think that one of the great things about the Trivia game is that apart from being fun, it acts like a record of sorts (e.g. Episodes in which Tygra does not appear, Episodes in which Mumm-ra appears outside his pyramid in mummy form, etc). These infos could be invaluable if anyone ever decides to create a comprehensive TCats Episode guide.
Ok on to the question:
“Name as many episodes as you can in which a Thundercat other than Panthro is shown driving the Thundertank”.
Lion-O in “Trouble With Time”, “Spitting Image” and “The Shifter” (I’m sure he drove it more, but I can’t remember them)
Tygra in “Turmagar The Tuska” and “The Transfer”.
Cheetara in “The Garden Of Delights”
The Kittens in “Divide And Conquer”
Bengali in most of season 4, “The Mossland Monster”
There’s one where Lynx-O is driving, but I can’t remember what.
And let’s not forget:
As you all might have guessed, I hated those eps (the ones in bolds) lol
I think Liam got most of them. I think there are a few more when Tygra drove it, but I have to give it a little thought. I think it was Tygra or Lion-o driving it in “Time Switch”.
Lol. I meant at the beginning of the ep, right before Lion-o was affected by that radiation that made him turn younger and younger with time. I think Tygra was driving it and accidentally removed something that liberated that radiation that affected Lion-o, or there was an earthquake or something. Or maybe it was Lion-o driving the tank.
Oh, now I know the part you mean. It’s Tygra, but he’s operating a crane to lower the suspension capsule into a pit they’ve dug to bury them all. The crane overturns (I think it hits a patch of rough ground or something), and the suspension capsule goes flying. When it hits the ground and ruptures, Lion-O gets enveloped in its gases. The crane does look a little like the tank, though. IIRC, it has little paws over its treads.
I think “LiamABC” got the most answers so I’ll give it to him. Congrats, sir!
Just one more I’d like to add:
In “Garden of Delights” - Wilykat is driving the tank with Panthro in the passenger seat in the beginning of the episode.
Ok, besides the Mutants and Mumm-Ra lol, I can think of:

[li]Safari Joe[/li][li]Spidera[/li][li]Hammerhand and the Bersekers[/li][li]That huge robot from Plun-Darr (can’t remember it’s name)[/li][li]Tecnopode[/li][li]Driller[/li][li]Mole Master (he was in at least 2 eps, although he wasn’t a villain)[/li][li]Cptn. Shiner[/li][li]That pirate android with his parrot[/li][/ul]
