A show not being listed as confirmed to be returning is not the same as confirming it is not returning. I do not know the first thing about these “upfronts”, but if they are only confirming about 25% of current shows, then there are 75% that are not confirmed. I find it hard to believe that 75% of existing shows are not returning.
Until there is official word, then ALL discussion about ThunderCats returning for another season is pure speculation. As such, please do not try to state your speculation or opinion as fact.

What is the biggest and really only omission from this list? Thundercats. I’ve already explained the Scooby Doo situation at length. The list of returning shows is a lot greater than 25% of the current shows at this point I’d say.

Further evidence was the lack of new product at Toy Fair 2012. Everything on display was either already released or had already been shown and announced long beforehand. They had virtually no new product or toys to show for later in the year. As TNI stated that is bad news. What did Bandai have to say? “We have nothing to comment on at this time.” So no, “the line is a great success and we will be showing off new figures later on in a couple months?” No nothing? We see new Bandai USA toys for Power Ranger Samurai for Ben 10 Omniverse but absolutely nothing for Thundercats? And I’m the only one who sees the problem with this?
I’d rather Warner Bros. not sever their ties with Bandai for the ThunderCats license. I just have to trust that new toys based on the brand are on the way (1985 and 2011). And if we want an all-new season of the new series, we need to make WB and Cartoon Network listen to us.
Does that matter? They are still the NEWEST ones and they were still at THE TOY FAIR, should count for something? As they were released before the toy fair, not long before it. Why make new toys when they still have these that are new?
Yes Rizefall it does matter. Toy Fair they are supposed to be showing retailers their new products to distribute for the year. There was nothing new for later in 2012 for Thundercats. NOTHING!
2012 is 12 months. So now they have nothing else new coming out for the line.
Do you think Hasbro just releases a few GI JOES or Star Wars guys at the beginning of the year and just stops? Transformers? Bandai USA with Power Rangers and Ben 10? The answer is no.

I will for the sake of it post what i did in another thread so maybe you will understand and just give up.

And yet again, new toys are probablly coming IF the show is doing good and IF the toys are doing good aswell. We dont know what they have planned. They just showed us new toys about a month ago. Are they even out in the market? If so, what are you whining about? The toys are there, new toys, or do you consider they should announce and show new toys every week/month? That sounds kinda harsh.
Exactly I know they have NOTHING planned for 2012. If they had anything planned they are supposed to show it at Toy Fair.
I’ve already responded to all your facts which don’t mean jack. I saw the stupid YouTube video. That representative is touring a booth of toys that were already released or already announced and shown off MONTHS before.
If the new timeslot meant new toys why were absolutely none shown at Toy Fair?
Folks I repeat, STOP the bickering and not one more mention of speculation on the show. When there are official announcements then feel free to discuss in the meantime this bickering back and forth over the future of the series is pointless and meaningless.
Guess what folks the show and toy line will end just like everything else and just like every other TV series so what point is it to discuss it before an official announcement of anything.
Feel free to discuss what figures you’d like to see in the future, etc but this bickering over the end of a toyline or any speculation needs to stop
I wish that Panini’s ThunderCats Magazine would cross over from the United Kingdom to the States. I’m interested in reading that comic-book story inside. :wilykat:
