Those are some huge assumptions, where are you getting that information? If you don’t have a real source you shouldn’t spread that all over the message boards amigos.
Please do not make ‘statements’ without proof to back them up 
At this point it is all ‘rumour’ and NOT fact.
I think we all agree things do not look good for the toyline, but without official word we can only speculate. Same goes for the cartoon series (even more so, since there has been no indication of it failing with viewership)
Any threads that make statements without official word will be deleted. Feel free to speculate and discuss any cancellation rumours However they need be treated as just that.
Found the same thing at my local TRU today. Honestly I was expecting it. This one TRU near me in particular was not moving any Thundercats off the shelves. I’d go and then revisit two weeks later to find things pretty much how I had left them. (Don’t know if you can see it in the pics but there’s more Thundercats on the side of the display, mostly the 4 inch figures).

Thundercats was not among returning shows at Cartoon Network 2012 upfronts FACT.
Thundercats had NO new toys shown for later this year at Toy Fair 2012 FACT.
Until cancellation is stated by an official source, then anything else is speculation. Other sites seem to be jumping the gun and speaking as though its all official. In the process all they are doing is whipping fans up into a frenzy. We prefer to hear official word first and not spread rumour and speculation based on occurences at Upfronts and Toy Fair as official announcements.
Like I said to discuss the speculation based on what has happened is cool, however to make sweeping statements as official word isn’t
I believe in the ThunderCats reboot and the toy line that’s based upon it. Bandai is simply just biding its time in making more toys. That’s how I see it.

I believe fans loved the Original and expected the best out of the New Toyline,10/10, Bandai’s Thundercats doesn’t match exactly our expectation,montheless it would not be fair to say they are not good.I think they have handled them with respect and tried to make the figures as good as possible, given that they are aimed maily for kids.
Fans need to understand that nowdays an adult collector would focus mainly on statues and highly detailed memorabilia products to support a line. And the toy companies are aware of that.Back in the 80s the only option whether you were an adult enthusiast of a show, a young kid or simply a collector was the Toys.You didn’t have a plethora of choices.
Things are different now, the market is inundated with 3 or 4 companies making staff for a line, so why choose to throw so much money perfecting a toy when someone can wait for a Statue company doing it? This is the philosophy right now.
I’ve stressed it before, LJN Tcats managed to be so successfull through time because they were made with the prospective adult collector in mind, hence the limited articulation points, height,e.t.c.They incorporated the demands of each target group i mentioned above into one piece.But now it’s a whole new ballgame.
We really shouldn’t be so harsh with Bandai’s take.

What you fail to realize is that it not getting announced at the upfronts is in the TV business about as official as it comes to an announcement of cancellation.
Just saying. This is the stage of denial right now. The show and toyline are dead.
What happened at the upfronts is NOT speculation. The show was not announced as returning hence it will NOT be coming back for another season.

It sucks to realize this. I know because I also love the show but the writing is on the wall.

A network never announces a show is cancelled really. Usually it just quietly dies.

and it is actually pretty common practice for tv networks to announce the cancellation of tv shows, so an announcement here shouldnt be out of the question
and i dont subscribe to the “they didnt specifically say it was coming back, so that means it’s canceled” line of thought, simply for the fact that Cartoon Network has a LOT of cartoons that they air, and the announcement didnt even touch a quarter of them
So let me get this straight. They will announce a damn Nick Cannon sketch comedy but not a new season of Thundercats? How does that make sense?
For shows like this their cancellations are rarely ever made official. They just quietly go away.

new shows need to be announced, old shows dont necessarily need that.
im not saying the show ISN"T canceled, just that a lack of an announcement isnt a 100% guarantee that it IS canceled
Then why do they announce old shows? Apparently Cartoon Network and advertisers who the upfronts are for think they need that. Thundercats doesn’t.
