He doesn’t look like a pokemon character…
He does slightly resemble a Pol Voice with legs and a tail though.

It’s a redesign, but stays very true to the original. I’m still against the decision of him not speaking though like he did in the original

He looks faithful to the basic concept, respectful of the color scheme even… and it may sound weird, but even despite being a little more cartoony than the original, he still looks more serious somehow.
Not too bad, stay somewhat close to the original. Just gotta whack that puff ball off his tail.
I really hope there’s just 1 snarf this time instead of 4 semi regularly revisited in the series. Seeing other snarfs in a few episodes is ok, just we don’t need 4 non-talking quadrupeds cycling in and out of every few episodes.

That’s just wrong! Snarf, o my god what did they do to you?? I could never have imagined that they would screw him over like that… the original design was so much better than this generic scribble… very disapointed by this one.. shame!!!

Well maybe he’ll have a suitable role in the toon, but I realy feel they dropped the ball one this one.. the original design was so good and now we get.. this.. I think he does look like a Pokémon and that’s not a good thing… So design wise, I don’t like him… I’ll have to wait and see the cartoon first to see if they killed the character along with the design or not :liono
Mixed feelings on this, he does look very much like a pokemon but the design Isnt too bad. I’m glad they stayed so close and true to the overall design and colors.

Hmm, idk about this - reminds me of a gremlin, really. But I guess it fits the style of the new animation.
He looks OK but I think he should be able to talk. I know people tend to love or hate him (like Marmite) but I think if you limited his lines it would be OK.
I never minded him talking, as long as it’s not like he did in the Hammerhand’s Revenge comic :eek:
The new design’s not bad. I can see why some find this version Pokemon-esqe.
Personally, I don’t think they had to make him a mute to improve his character. Snarf never bothered me.
To silence his haters, all they had to do was make his character serve a very specialized function in the team to neutralize his annoyance factor.
So now the Thundercats have a ThunderRat. Sorry guys, they missed the boat on this one.
